Thanks DaVo I am proud to ride with the Texas Outlaws, they are my brothers. Gumby aka Mark Gosser, Lou from Longview aka Lou Statman who just won a bowl contest, Zack aka Zack Levitt, PMC aka Pete Cardenas, Gorillabiscuits aka Chris Doan and myself are getting ready to head to Luna Slalom Jam in Mississippi. Hey brothers and sisters-just wanted to give a huge shout out and props to Texas Outlaw Mark "Gumby" Gosser for his 1st place at the Texas Slalom race a coupla days ago! You own it Gumby and SB is proud to be able to boast about you bro! AND Stubbsy kicks arse too...AND...a big thanks goes out to Texas Eddy who is probably one of-if not the coolest guy on the slalom scene. Here's to many more grassroot slalom events!

Put cones on a hill. That's slalom. WHat city do you live in? Check out bonelessone.com in sessions to find wiggling going down. MF

Hey,yall. Been hearin yall talk about this Texas Sizzler. Been skatin for a while and havent heard of it. THinkin about entering next year but have no i dea what to expect. Anyone have any video/pics? I've been doing some hill-bombin and hitten speed of 35+ with some pretty tight carving. Right now im skatin a stock OP with revenge trucks and 62mm kryprtonics classic. Anybody got any tips on gettin started in the slalom racing?

can you give any idea of what the cone spacing will be for the GS. i notice on the contest calender you call it GS but in the email i just got you call it super G. are we talking huuuge offsets or more strait tighter stuff?

Yes If we have time we will be running a single lane tight slalom on the bottom of big view drive. I'm thinking that 6 to 6and a half feet.

For me it comes down to how many cones per second. I mean, tight has to be tight, but even then it isn't really tight until you get up to around 4 cones per second. But then, I am not really into the flatland "pump contest" type of racing. I like there to be a hill with a real risk of injury you know, some "gnar".

Heard some rumors about some tight slalom. What do you consider TS. I like runnng 5.0 to 5.5 fts with step overs and a 4.5 thrown in there just for the hell of it. Then again TS can be 6fts at a very fast speed. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws/Pavel skates

Are you Texas boys ok? I'm not the type that watches the news much. Too depressing but I did manage to watch today. Can you say ice? Ouch. Hopefully things thaw out soon and power is restored. I talked to Belinda at the La Quinta just now. We're all good to go on the rooms at $85 per night for Sizzler Weekend. There is a cut off date of Feb 9th to get this rate

The Sizzler is not in La Quinta'a system but we will be fixing this problem on Monday. We are still working on getting the big hill for Saturday's Race but it is looking good. More than Likely we will have three starting points on that hill and racers can choose their level.
