Longboarders will rule the Earth. Duckboy, be innovative, don't rely on someone else for ideas. This is a good longboarding resource, but we need more, we need to organize, we need... a longboarder for President!

I've skated on & off for the last 20 years, but it wasn't until I visited California in 96 that I tried riding longboards and now I'm hooked. They're so mellow to ride I've used them to cruise to the office in the summer (all 3 days of it here in London). I've got a 4 foot Sector 9 pintail and a 5 foot Roadboard which flexs so much it bottoms out! Good to see some more people over here riding longboards these days.

Is there anyone who can tell me if G&S longboards are any good? I haven't seen any of those on the net yet although I look regularly. Anyway, if there are any longboarders in Belgium please let me know.

Yo, what's up. My commrade Frank "THE TOAD" Larson commented that carving was "paradise." Granted, carving is quite a wonderful feeling, however, I like another sensation more. It's not ual or dealing with the enternal love I have for myself, but with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Dammit, those things are without a doubt, God's supreme invention. The feeling the jelly gives me when it runs down my chin is far greater than any sensation aquired from a skateboard. I love bread, peanut butter, and jelly. Who ever put those three things together must be the mesiah. Well, I know that my message was pointless, but I gotta keep it real. Phat shout out to Frank Dogg, and all the other Kansas City board fiendz. Peace in da Mid-East.

This message is for Greg Rose. You mentioned Irvine Skatepark. I was never there. I'm from San Diego, and I never had reliable transportation, back in those days. Besides, back in those days, you couldn't swing a dead cat in Southern California without hitting a skatepark. Anyway, might want to check out Temecula Skatepark and banks mellow enough that it's sweet on a longboard. I don't know how long it would take from Irvine. (It's an hour drive from San Diego and worth every minute.) I've been there twice in the last two weeks, and all I think about is going back. I'm going to be doing a report on it on my web page in a week or so. I hear that Tuesday nights, it's practically all longboarders. Check it out. http://home.earthlink.net/sturhann/nosewheelie

hey hey hey... This is the site I've been looking for on the web. I appreciate the fact that you have more info than pictures. I have a Sector9 "Cosmic Rider 2." I absolutely love to downhill and I dream about it all day at school. Carving is the most amazing feeling in the world. 3 in the morning, wind in your hair, endless hills..... that's paradise. All people who surf/skate/snowboard should feel lucky. We will live a life always having one constant love, the carve. "Those with the rythm will never grow old!" (slackers) peace.

This is a very cool site. I have been skating since 76' but I stopped in the early 80's a few years after the new "kicktail" boards appeared. It is great to see the old style boards back in style. When I saw one, I knew I had to get one, and I ride it all the time. I just wish I could go back in time to the old skate park I used to ride as a lad. Any one remember the free skatepark in Irvine CA? I wish it was still around. Skate safe and I'll see you on the hill!
