G&S chromolly baseplates wanted- metal
On 8/3/2001 Ryan M wrote in from (204.30.nnn.nnn)

I found 6 old G&S hangers from 1989 or so sitting in a box just chilling in my garage, but there's only 2 complete trucks and they have the plastic bases, which are nice but the kingpin isn't replaceable. If anyone has metal baseplates for these babies I'd be stoked to hear. NO oldschool sites have these, and buying a complete set of nos trucks is out of the question budget wise!

Stone products and such
On 8/2/2001 Adam wrote in from (209.179.nnn.nnn)

Ncdsa.com has fallen victim to a particularly nasty form of spam: the automated cross-poster. The "product" is called Biz Promoter and like those CDROMs with "millions of email addresses", it comes with a database of BBS's like Ncdsa.com. People who buy Biz Promoter compose their ad, hit a button, and it gets broadcast to hunderds, maybe thousands, of BBS's. Manually cross-posting is considered bad form and we prohibit it. Automated cross-posting is a tool of the dregs of cyber space and anyone who sells or uses one truly sucks. I'll be taking counter-measures so these totally off-topic posts don't continue to muck up Ncdsa.com. And I'll try to post the email of the guy who sells Biz Promoter so you can all tell him what you think of his fine product. Feel free to email the Stone Products people too.

stone products
On 8/2/2001 psYch0Lloyd wrote in from (24.148.nnn.nnn)

It's good to see a variety of new materials from which decks can be manufactured from. I myself have a 38 lb. 33" x 10 ½" x ½" steel deck so aptly dubbed the Bomb, but a tombstone shaped granite deck could be in order! One can only wonder what type of truck/wheel combo would be appropriate for such a board as this.

re: roller derby mustang
On 8/1/2001 Repairman Cam wrote in from (208.37.nnn.nnn)

I should mention that this board is around 35-40 years old,
and is probably good as a conversation piece only. I wouldn't have the nerve to ride it!

mustang roller derby #15
On 8/1/2001 Repairman Cam wrote in from (208.37.nnn.nnn)

THe deck is kinda chewed and a little water damage, but the trucks (if you can call them that) and the red clay wheels are in nice condition. It's about 6" x 15" long and flat (how did we ride these things??) I got it at a flea market and will trade for just about anything (I'd like a deck, 48" long or longer)It has blessed me with its unique presence and I feel maybe someone would appreciate it more, while giving me a chance to increase the size of my meager quiver.(1 board!)

Strada set for trade. 88a & 78a mixed set
On 8/1/2001 BoBo wrote in from (151.196.nnn.nnn)

Brand new set of mixed Stradas for trade. 2 88a's for the front, and 2 78a's for the back. The 88a's a brand spankin new and the 78a's have about 5 runs on em. They aren't even broken in yet and are still glossy. These are now very hard to get guys. I'm looking for a set of slalom trucks for trade. Indy 101's or Tracker Fulls are what I seek. Even a set of nice Midtracks would be OK. E-me with offers.

Maherajah
On 8/1/2001 Herbn wrote in from (216.107.nnn.nnn)

To bad it's not an old one,the new ones, have a BUTT ugly shape.I like the construction,i had a thirty inch kicktail Maherajah, back in their day.Snapped the tail off that board riding off the side of a quarter pipe(approx 5ft high) at the nanuet n.y. "skateaway" skatepark, sort of regret it of course, the 8ply powerflex 30x8.25 i got after the Maha was technically a better board, but Maha's were definitely stylin.
