I'll get them to you tommorrow, they are filed under: Give Clingfilm a chance to heal.
I have a number of cones with CL on them. I dont think they belong to Cheryl Lunghi.
Paul K, I have your red Avilas here, anyone else up for HP?
Sam G, liked your crashing story.
Jim S, glad to see your back.
Paul B, likewise.

David, has jadranko e-mailed you with any details of arrival, flight, departure? If he has, e-mail me. Jill says we'll put him up if we know the details A.S.A.P. and if I can I'll pick him up from the Airport. I tried to e-mail him but it bounced. Edwin

SATURDAY we have the location for saturday. I suggest 1.00pm start, cyber slalom comp as an open session and set head to head course. Coaching and practice after.
Mike we will need timing gear if possible.
I do not have a ride down, can anyone help. I am ok for sunday.
SUNDAY
10.30 start. Practice 11.30 - 12.45 - qualifying
1.00pm - demo in areana. Can anyone help here. Want to show off. I suggest pumping pursuit. It is a square areana and i could set a loop. one skater in each corner, who ever is adhead after 4 loops win, like cycle pursuit. it will be clear on the day. Any freestylers or others able to help.
2.30 - 4.30 head to head
I will need some help setting up and running things if anyone can chip in.
4.30 prize awarded by Major. hopefully a few prizes.
clear - let me know

Euro Champs

From Jani Solderhall to me about the upcoming Euro champs, concerning the opening of entrys to non Europeans:
Michael, I raised this discussion with Pierre a long time ago, both in email and in the Riderz.net forum, and I'm convinced he intends to keep it closed to non-Euros. This is also consistent with previous European Championships, but at the time there wasn't much interest from non-Euros to participate... I have seen from various discussions that you don't like it, but in a way I think it is good to be able to do regional competitions. Look at dsm2003 for example. The will run two categories, so it means that we won't really race the German guys, we'll just be racing the same day. I'll probably go, but I'm not sure that such a division is a good thing. Not allowing Americans into the European Championships shouldn't change that much, although I know that a few might want to come there. It would normally be better to limit there participation to certain events, which then will be more interesting for all of us. Ok, there isn't much more this year, but next year we should plan for at least 3 major events that could attract Americans. I don't know which yet, but our intention is to do Paris again. This time the way we've learned our lesson. And it can't be raining for us again! Will you go to Germany and/or Morro Bay? /Jani
End of message.
Well I feel that keeping anyone out of comps is lame. So I wont be going to the so called Euro champs. There ya go....

Strange Ways, At the bottom of the slip road off M40 Jcn 6 turn right and head for Watlington, as you come into the village [just after place name sign] look out for a sign to the sports ground or recreation fields on the left [the turning is on the right]. See you there.

Just got back from F'boro, had a good laugh pretty empty with only about 5 other skaters and a couple of bmxers there. I Havent been to guildford park for a while, nice park if not a little small like the nice wide banks and the litte pump bumps things. Might have to head over some time soon.

It's very close to where the old halfpipe was. Maybe fifty yards away. Stand where it was, walk clockwise round the leasure centre and you can't miss it. It's a fairly good park but i've only visited it on saturday mornings and can't vouch for other times.
The best feature is a big mini ramp, about 30' wide and 6' deep with a 7' near vert extension for about 10'. It has a skatelite surface which is very fast and smooth but can be a little slippery. A few weeks ago it was barely being used at 1PM on saturday, it's too big for the kickflippers I guess.
It also has a small 3' mini and a slightly BMXish 'street' area, this is big, well made and all built on a perfectly smooth concrete base but kind of boring as there aren't a lot of interesting lines unless you are capable of clearing the spine. Which i'm not...
It's clearly a bigger and better park than my local one at Guildford but it's not better enough for me to want to make the longer trip too often. Maybe i'm just used to Guildford's mid sized mini ramp and more carvable banks and quarters.
