I've got my cutdown Vans gumboots in the rucksack and am ready for skates'n ales'n Morro Tales this evening. Gareth Roe happened to mention that the World Champion is heading back with a plywood arsenal amongst the silverwork, so I'm looking to scope the latest spoils in a 'shameless shopper' way!
Jim Nutsac, I like the plan to turn the Open into the equivalent of sailing's America's Cup. Best we keep our winged keels concealed, though; NZ is a long way away.
Paul Price, I hope your brother is now alright and back to a fighting fit state after the dreadful news that compelled you to head over to the US of A last week!
By the way, did I hear RED Cambrias?

Soon as I typed "going to HP" it started raining... I've got tomorrow off and can't tell if it's better to schlep up from the coast to Rom, or to head along to Southsea. Either way, concrete looks the best bet. metoffice.org is ambiguous. Any local knowledge much appreciated! Paul

FWIW, I'm going to beer run down to HP and check out the new WORLD CHAMPION. As long as it's dry, obv. London's got a lot of damp in the air and there's a veneer of moisture on the paving. Needless to say, I fell off again, this morning.

Any one for HP tonight? My excuse for being beaten by anyone will range from 'jetlagged' to 'jetlagged'. Sam Gordon needs to be trained up, possibly as back up for Martin Draytons title tetention attempt next year.
Also any news as to what time Sats mini comp at Epic is? Any news from Paul "I fell asleep on a sunbed" Price? (he'd bunked off work to go to the worlds, and picked up a classic tan whilst, er...'sick').
I have with me, photos, twinkies for Tony and some 'Ding Dongs' whatever they are, a wind up Clockwork Nun, a Donkey cigarrette holder where the ciggie is dispensed out of its butt, (for Smoketack), Big Boxes of Chalk, Blue Avalons, Red Cambrias, and a few nice decks to show off. Start saving for Morro 2004 now!

it seems as though the open title really likes it in blighty so shouldnt it have somewhere to stay until it gets fed up with the weather then if someone wanted to come knocking for it they would know where to go. Brands would be good if the paperwork could be sorted,we all know how well appointed it is and its position between America and Europe makes it ideal. Thanks for guiding it back Mike job well done.

I'm off the crutches but sadly won't be able to make Birmingham on Sat. Clingfilm, I'll send my AGM thoughts via email.
Bummer, was looking forward to Epic. Never been there, never seen it.
Nights are drawing in too. I guess the HP evening sessions will be ending soon. Me and Luke are hoping to get down to HP once a week or so during the day (jammy jobs). Anyone interested, let us know.
Graham.

Just to let you all know we are trying to plan a back to back Trocaderro/Brands event. Brands are the problem as they have limited time, so I can not confirm a before or after situation. This is a main aim of next year, to get the best two locations available in the world. Should we call this the World Series.

Can't afford to go to Epic this time :-(
The rain has started here, so it looks like not much skating 'till the spring. Time to break out the snowboard and hit the dendex.
Hope to see y'all next year at Bude and Brands.
Cheers

Once again a "Worlds" title comes back to Blighty. Different person but still an LSD'er, no disrespect to Pig City though. Smokestack did you go? Once again well done Brits abroad. Edwin

Friday Slalomcross, 3dm 36", PVD's and White Avilas
Saturday Hybrid GS, Pocket Pistol Brown Bomber, 'Gus' Japanese front Truck, Chicken Indy offset rear, White trimmed Avalons front, Blue 78a Avalons rear.
Sunday Tight, Pocket Pistol Smokestack, same trucks and wheels as Saturday.
Hmmm...do you know anyone who sells those items?
A Brown Bomber would have been my choice if I had to choose one deck for everything over the weekend.

Well done Michael, knew you could do it! I'm sure your Dad is looking down and smiling.... Glad Luca lived up to the hype and showed them his back! Gilmore can now happily tell them "Told you so!" Whats the betting they won't do tight next year 'if those damned Euros are gonna win'...
Martin.
ps.Just getting back from my Dad's 80th in Trinidad, boy does he owe me for missing Morro Bay!!! Could have been me and Michael in the Finals...

Up early to see Luca off, 24 hour trip for him back to Italy, carrying torches and trophies.
All the courses this year helped me to get it down on Sunday. Each race had an element of Sundays course, from Clingfilm, to Paris slope. Its all worked in my favor.
I saw some fantastic racing this weekend. You should all try to make it sometime...best thing for me is I have to go 'Pro' so I have no pressure...who wants to try and make it 3 in a row from the UK. Sam????????
Cheers Guys.
