How to judge a slide contest
On 9/21/2006 Brian Holden wrote in from United States  (67.41.nnn.nnn)

Hey Cliff,
It looks like you did a great job judging at last years slidefest, so I was wondering if you had any tips on how to judge sliding. I was holding a contest in my hometown, and I have some alright ideas on how to judge it, but any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Brian

Ehh...
On 9/21/2006 Nacho Libre wrote in from United States  (68.111.nnn.nnn)

I got where you guys are coming from. I re-read my post and it sounds much more angry than implied.

F-

I hope you settle your whole deal without any serious lawsuits. I was just angry at the way you claimed "War" upon Gravity and Bream. I figure they have done a beautiful thing to skating in general. They were the company that introduced me to longboarding and sliding as well. They have helped me in many ways, and I hate hearing bad things said about them.

Cliff-

I hear you loud and clear bro. I never wanted to tell Fabrice to stop talking of the subject, I just didnt want to see his anger spread over all the forums. Trying to keep the attitudes mellow and kick back, how they should be on a longboarding forum.

If someone cares to explain to me however why Sergio and all the other riders are getting Fcked, I would like to hear it. Keep it long, keep it stylish, keep on rolling.

Nachoooooooooooo

F and sponsors
On 9/21/2006 Cliff Coleman wrote in from United States  (67.161.nnn.nnn)

Nacho Libre,

Why try to tell Fabrice he shouldn't have freedom of speech and to "Leave it alone"? What is going on at Gravity and at other companies from time to time is not all roses. Let me just say, Gravity used to have Lang, Budro, myself, Fabrice and Myer. We all left! Enough said.

Fabrice, you can either figure you got away from a bad situation for what it cost you, or if the real cost is too high and you have evidence of a broken contract, you can litigate.

I won't censor a person if they want to write about poor treatment by a sponsor. I'm always a skater first person!

Sincerely,
Cliff Coleman

Get a freakin study of the real story, you will see who is takin advantge of whom. I just have the balls to stand up and say no. He knew it was for OUR movie (Yann and I) and took it without asking the permission, and give us the full credit for it. Dont mix different storys Nacho Libre.

End of storys, you guys will never understand until it happens to you.

Coleman got f#@!ed, Sergio is gettin f#@!ed, everybody who has a special talent is getting f#@!ed.

No, nada, hun hun, end of story, but you guys are just fool to finger point me loike that.

King of misundestanding he said hey? Let me laugh. I have TONS of emails proving i am right. I just went public cause this bulls#@! was not gettin resolved.

Now, i just wich that one day the others will have the balls to say f#@! this crap.

F, Chill pill brother
On 9/19/2006 Nacho Libre wrote in from United States  (68.111.nnn.nnn)

F -

Why all the hate towards Bream? Why do you feel the need to bring a company that has done so much for skating like Gravity down. Leave it alone, most of the people that saw that clip in CW Evolutions 2 had already seen the damn thing on Google Video or wherever you posted it. You were riding for Gravity, getting all the schwag and hookups from Gravity at the time, so for you to say it was stolen is bull s#@!. Case closed.

Hey Cliff! Good to catch up with you on the phone. I was hoping to come over to Slidefest in Nov but the cost of flying direct is too much.I`ve had the idea of hooking up with you in Berkeley, then travelling together to the fest. What do you think, any other ideas? Send my best to the Berkeley crew much respect Mark.
