Throughout the day, the weather was constantly changing from sunshine to strong winds to pouring rain and back again. This cycle occurred no less than six times through the day. GoFast! Speed Days Returns to IGSA World Cup Schedule
On 2/22/2008 Marcus Rietema wrote in from United States  (71.109.nnn.nnn)

Photobucket

The International Gravity Sports Association (IGSA) announced today that the GoFast! Speed Days World Cup event is returning to Eastbourne, England, September 5-7, 2008.

The Inaugural event was held in September 2007 to enthusiastic crowds who experienced gravity racing for the very first time. Downhill Skateboarding will once again be the headlining event with Street Luge, Classic Luge, Gravity Bike and Downhill Inline Skating also on the schedule. Plans are also underway to add a slalom skateboarding competition.

The event has the complete support of the Eastbourne Town Council and sponsors GoFast and Lush Longboards. According to promoter Tom Worsley, “We are looking at lots of new ideas to bring even more audience spectacle to an already popular event including floodlighting the course, and running freeride sessions through the night.” The biggest improvement will be a complete resurfacing of the track.

FUNIL ESTRADA REAL BRAZILIAN RACE
On 8/29/2006 ALEXANDRE MAIA wrote in from Brazil  (200.138.nnn.nnn)

The race was amazing, we had 74 riders from 7 states. The course had 1.200 km with a insane chincane where the skateboarders and street lugers could dispute the best places in the qualifyngs. 64 skateboarders and 6 street lugers passed to the main event.
On Sunday the rain came. After a meeting everybody agreeded on keep the event without the chincane. With the wet asphalt ever was more dificult for the riders. No more rain in the afternoon and the finals happened with dry pavement.

Check out these links with nice pictures and video from Funil Estrada Real IGSA Brazil National.
