Sort of, they're mostly on facebook and most of them aren't on there much either. Joe M is still in his area slaloming, Fluitt moved to California, and I really haven't anything from or about the rest of that crew in years since a random run-in with Barker close to 10 years ago at one of their practice spots when I was visiting one of my nephews. Yeah, I know what you mean. Adios-PTH

Heck, you could probably run a snowboard slalom on that hill if you had to.

Any day looks good to me--4th, 18th whatever, let it be known. Later is colder and less predictable as fluitt points out. Anyone see any bungees laying around? More bungee superG might be great.

The 18th would be a possibility too (for me anyway). The later we go, the colder it gets. I think the 18th would be the latest.

Have you guys been to Cheyenne and seen the Cement addition to the Skatepark? I think it was done by the same company as the Ft Collins, Longmont, and Denver(Downtown-red cement)skateparks. There's a kidney pool that bends to the right(as you're standing at the shallow end looking to the deep end), plus another bigger all-connected-together type of area. Very well done. Its hard to believe that after growing up there and pushing all those petitions that went nowhere in the 70's, building our own 1/2pipes, and that silly metal ramp park that was built in the early 90's that Cheyenne now has probably one of my favorite cement, free, skateparks with a pool(and in that s#@!-kicken Klu Klux Klan enclave to boot!). Who would have ever guessed!
We probably will spend most park skating the Cheyenne park but may drop in on the Longmont and Ft Collins parks. -P

Hey, I'll be visiting family and possibly skating around between Longmont and Cheyenne August 18th(Tues)-24th(Mon) 2009. Preston and I would probably be into a slalom session, park session or whatnot and saying "Hey" to Bill and Holly Wright whilst in Ft Collins. I'll post again and check in again sooner to the trip. 'Just figured I'd post early since it does'nt seem like you guys check in here very often. -P

SEND GEORGE TO SWEDEN

Most of you know George Pappas. He had two 1st place finishes in the last couple of weeks, in Morro Bay (hybrid) and in Hood River (TS). George needs to get to Sweden to represent the U.S. and take his stab at the world championship title. He is right now one of the top five racers on the planet, but doesn't have the dough to get there on his own dime. This is where we can help. If everyone in the US slalom scene pitched in a few bucks, George can buy the ticket and get his skinny little ass over to Scandahovia to kick some euro butt. Click the donate button to make a donation of any amount. The ticket is about $1500 right now. Help a bro out and send him to sweden.

Hey Chris, it was fun skating with you and that other guy who's name I forgot. Preston and I slalomed for awhile after we left the skatepark, it was fun riding your preset courses.

Cat you should know better, didn't you used to live in Colorado. I don't even watch the weather forecast anymore, it's less accurate than my horoscope, as a matter of fact that's what I would suggest, Yeah that's it...just check your horoscope for that day, then you'll know what to wear.
