No Helmet? Skateboarding Safety Campaign

In 2005, Ncdsa.com launched its No Helmet? campaign to raise awareness in the skateboarding community about the seriousness of head injuries; particularly injuries sustained by helmetless riders. The campaign's animated web banners feature images carefully designed to convey the consequence and aftermath of these sometimes life-changing injuries. Each banner's text message invokes the question "No Helmet?" followed by a straight-spoken consequence such as "No Life", "No Brain", or "No More You".

Webmasters interested in running a No Helmet campaign on their own sites are free to do so. Sample HTML source code and the required .swf file for each banner are freely available below. All we ask is that you link to this page from somewhere on your site. And please email me so I can check out how you've deployed the banners, and so I can add your site to Ncdsa's Links page.

Macromedia Flash is required on the browser side for these banners to display. The HTML below loads the Flash plug-in if the user doesn't already have it installed.
