Farm House Directions

**Update: The format has changed. In both the GS and TS you will get 2 qualifying runs then the top 16 will be our A-Pros and the latter 16 will make up the B-Pros. Then you will get 2 more runs and the fastest time wins.

The Vintage race will be the best of 2 runs. (1 push from da box)

Cone penalties will be .2 for GS and .1 for TS. DQ only if you go out of the course.

**Please be aware that although we have a permit, there will still be some local traffic. There are about 6 or 7 houses located on a side road (Deepwell Farm Rd) that will have access to Shady Lane. Be curtious at all times. Thanks. I will be passing out fliers to all the residents well in advace so they will probably all leave for the weekend.

Shady Lane

"The Farm courses will be fast. Last years gs course was very fast (see the vid of gilmour as he goes UP the runout hill w/ clothes flapping) As far as the course goes either Vlad or Gilmour will set the course on race morning. Both are expert course setters and can set a killer course in 15 minutes. Level of difficulty will be med to high. Last year I'd say 30% of the field dq'ed at least 1 run. We want to showcase slalom skill this year and give the good racers something they can shine on. This won't be a race for newbies. There is a back hill that we might set a newbie course on so guys can run cones and have fun. Our feeling is the Gathering is a "race for everyone" even newbies but Da Farm is for the top racers that show up to race. JG ran a Roe Bottle Rocket last year w/ a 18.25" inner to inner wb in the gs and ts." TK

Vintage Race

Since last year was so fun, we are going to run our second vintage race. All racers are required to ride decks, wheels and trucks that are Pre-1980. So dig around in your closet and dust off that old Fibreflex, Bahne, Banzai, H-Bomb, Ick, Summer Ski and join the fun. Be sure to use new Pleasure Tool bearings though.
**Even though some C-62's were poured in the early 80's, all colors are allowed.
**All boards must pass a TK spec. Gilmour was DQ'ed last year trying to sneak by with his mid 80's tracker base plates.
**No board sharing this year.

Camping and Accommadations

Campers note: There are very few facilities which could be quite uncomfortable. However, if you are a hardcore camper, then you will feel right at home on DaFarm. As for Saturday night, those campers who will be attending the Hays party are advised to camp there and avoid driving late night on pitch black narrow winding roads. Last year a coulple of stoners tried to find the Hays Farm after dark and missed the party.

Also, if you are a bass fishermon, bring your rigs to the Hays Farm and get a few casts in before sundown. TK caught serval fatties in about 10 minutes while Duane tried marshmellows for bait and hooked some weeds. I believe he still owns TK $20.
