Contest Info: This is the 4th stop in the Farm Outlaw Race Series. For those riders that have never been to Magnolia Woods Sport Fields, the pavement is close to a 10. We will run two races a Hybrid and a TS; plan on a hard TS and an easier Hybrid. The races will be single lane jam format, with your best time used to determine your finish position. The starting order will be based on your on-line registration order. Cone penalties and DQ limits will be announced at the riders meeting. This is an Outlaw event; you will be running at your own discretion and it could be shut down at any time. We have practiced here with about 20 riders with out a problem. You can park in either the bottom dirt lot or in the lot at the top of the hill. Do not park in the circle. This is a public sport field area; you will get busted if you are caught with an open container. Please be courteous to the other users of this park, watch out for cars and help pick up any trash after the race. There are portable toilets at this site. It has limited shade, no water or food available.

Notes on the Hybrid: The course is about 150 yards long 35 cones. The speeds are a little faster than VT. There will be a flat start area with a 3-4 push start. We set a course this Sunday afternoon. We had two new riders that just started slaloming and they both could get through the course. It is challenging for advanced riders trying to deal with the technical offsets at speed.

Notes on the TS: The A course 45 cones long with cone spacing ranging from 6 to 10 feet with a very fast stinger section at the bottom. To give you an idea of difficulty of this course, Mille was not able to make it, Ben could make it but was hitting 1-5 cones. I estimate the speed at the bottom of the course will be approaching 25mph for the top riders.
We will also be setting a B-C level TS course on one of the pathways. If you don’t feel comfortable running the A level TS race you can practice on this course. If we have time after the A level TS race we will move the timing to the B-C course and run a third race on this hill.
