Overall Results: Hey, This was a REALLY fun race. BIG THANKS to John Stryker for holding the race, Pat Chewning and Gareth for bringing their timers, and everyone else who helped set up the courses and tear down. Both courses were run 5 times with the best times of each rider for each course combined to count as their final times for placing. Both courses had rythem changes making everyone really pay attention, most riders DQ'd at least once. The runs were not too bad for beginners to ease their way through but had pretty good speed if you pushed hard at the start and pumped it, then you really had to pay attention. The "Hybrid" course was a real mixed bag of close and far cones, easy and hard-to-reach offsets and a tight end stinger section tighter than any portion of the Tight course. There were some pretty close times between riders at times. I LOVE awkward mixed up courses like that. The temps were high so Mr Organizer John Stryker brought a big cooler of water for everyone. It was good to see Brad Kasha drive all the way from Calgary, Alberta, Canada so Brad gets the award for being the Stoke-Mobile. "Leemo"(sp?) of G&S Fiberflex downhill/longboarding fame entered as well. It was good to meet the new people and see the familiar ones as well. Dan Hughes ran the only clean run on the hybrid course at high speed, pretty good for a return from back surgery. All in all it was very worth the 5 hour drive for me. -Paul Howard(John Stryker's web ghost-writer).
