The Outlaw Series Finale
A Slalom Race For Charity
Let's all come together in this time of need and help raise $ for all the folks that lost everything from Hurricane Katrina...one of the worst natural disasters in American history.
This is it...the last race of the series. It's been an amazing summer of love and we're going to end it with a BANG. A two day event that promises to be the best race of the series. We've had well over 50 racers participate in this outlaw series...many of them first timer's. The stoke is alive and well on the East side. Look for next year's outlaw series to have even more events.
UPDATED RACE SCHEDULE - PLEASE NOTE: SATURDAYS START TIME HAS CHANGED
Saturday, October 1st, Single Lane Hybrid Race,
11-Noon Set-up & Practice, Noon-3pm? RACE
Sunday, October 2nd 10am - Single Lane TS Race
Both events will take place at the Ball Mountain Dam.

Points
The points race is close as Noah leads the way. Ur13 and TK are a close second. Will Vlad come out of the woodwork and makes things really interesting? Who will win the first Farm Outlaw Series?

Important Note
This is an OUTLAW race and is subject to a bust. We do NOT have permission but I'm doing my best to get in touch with PSR so he can help organize this event as well as get permission from the Park Rangers. I will post any updates ASAP.
Directions
Ball Mountain Dam
Our final race is going to be held just west of the town of Jamaica by about a 1/2 mile. Take I-91 North into Vermont, getting off at Exit 2. Take a Left there, and head towards downtown Brattleboro, carefully following the first two left turns that take you to Vermont Route 30, heading West. You'll be Route 30 about 16-20 minutes before cruising into the village of Jamaica. After that, you'll head up a pretty decent hill about 4/10th's of a mile, look for the Ball Mountain Dam on your right. No entry fees required for this park. Once in the park, head uphill, over 'the hump' and down to the Lot by the Garage. This is where the restrooms are, btw.
We want to park towards the rear, as to leave the Lot as open as possible for deceleration purposes. The hill just above this lot is the G.S. hill. The lower section, down by the Dam and cul-de-sac is where we can run a Tight Slalom, or could be a less-intense G.S. Hybrid hill. There is the possibility of using the foremost hill instead, depending on wind direction/intensity or if that hill is drier. That first hill has an uphill runout, and isn't as steep. The tar is fairly new, and fairly sticky, smooth, and fast. We are a ways out in the woods, so pack food/drinks/sunscreen in true pinicing fashion.

Misc. Notes:
In true grassroots fashion, we're all going to run this race together. Please bring brooms, talkies, cones, ramp, leaf blowers, chalk, paper, pens, backup ramp, timing system, back-up timing system, heavy sweaters...
