Contest Info:	* S K A T E R A C E ! Astoria Multistage Classic S e p t e m b e r 1 4 t h sign-up by NOON at the Bike Garage 1343 Duane St. in downtown Astoria!!! RAIN or SHINE!!! 12:30 Stage 1- BOMBS AWAY! Downhill to Downtown, via Skyline, Alameda, Bond, to Exchange. .. 3.8 miles of speedy seedy "S" curves over an "array" of asphalt surfaces. ( BREAK at BIKE GARAGE) 1:15 Stage 2 - RIVERFRONT ROLLER..3.1 miles along a smooth waterfront surface closed to cars. ...... Watch for -Pedestrians! Dogs! Rocks! Fish! Drunk People! Cats! ( BREAK at COFFEE GIRL) 2:00 Stage 3 - GOONIES CLIMB & DIME.. Push up Grand to 34th. Kill Irving to 14th Street. Best time wins. 3.2 miles over a "smoothish" surface. (RESULTS at BIKE GARAGE) Best aggregate time wins !!!! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, + raffle *** ATTENTION!!! Be forewarned, this skate race includes sweeping vistas, fast hills, super-fun turns, big 'ol cracks in the pavement, oncoming traffic, the occasional logger, riverfront beauty, slippery surfaces, snapping turtles, and on and on...so, please, use your best discretion while skating, and please keep yourself safe first...Enjoy ALL RACERS MUST WEAR A HELMET!!! * This race may include other activities or alternate activities as weather and whim dictate

Overall Results:	Wow. This was really fun. Special thanks to all the Portland riders that came out and really made this a race. Hope to do it again next year!
