tight slalom skateboard race
Saturday, July 16th, 9pm, 1977 Crescent Ave., San Pedro, CA, US
100 cones spaced at 6'-0" or less, on center, no offsets
single lane, mild slope, gently curved course with a good surface
3 timed runs per racer, single fastest time counts
Timing system is BTS cabled to tape switches
All clean runs will place ahead of all cone-hit runs, then are sorted by time.
12 cones can be hit without penalty.
DQs:
Foot touch between first and last cone
13 cones hit
Course not made or any cone missed
Any racers who object to the above rules, bring it up. Nothing is set in stone yet.
Practice sessions to be held prior to race, times TBD.
Required:
1. Helmet to be worn for all practice and race runs or DQ
2. Skateboards only
3. $20 per racer, all goes to prize pool
Results will be announced immediately after the race and prizes awarded:
1st place 30%
2nd place 25%
3rd place 20%
4th place 15%
5th place 10%
