Yes, it's the same glorious Can / Am race! Antrim's Home and Harvest Festival features food, craft fair, "eating stuff" contests (eew...) fireworks, pumping in the parade - dodging horse chips and hard candy, and wiggling to the Shriners crazy tunes - and bombing Route 202 under the protection of Antrim's Finest, while stopped, angry motorists glare at us!
We will again have concerts, "festival stuff", and of course the fabulous BBQ-Music-Fireworks at Tenney Farm on Saturday night. A family friendly event, for sure!
Last year entry fee was higher and included most meals. Hmm... This event happens in the middle of a local street festival, right between the Mini Market and the sub shop, next to the Chinese place, across from the convenience store. We may yet put together a meals package, but right now the price is for the race, and all money goes to cash prizes and a very few race expenses. If that's a drag, please let us know - the theory is making this event more affordable to enter, easier for the crew (call me Dave) and offering more prize money.
New info and further info (Reduced JR's fee, housing, updates and changes, my contact info, etc.) is here on the ISSA site: http://www_slalomskateboarder_com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=134&t=8670
