Come race at one of the most important racing events in North America and be a part of history in the making!

Loretta Street in Oceanside CA - racer point of view looking down the course

Parking, Food and Other Venue Amenities:
Loretta Street is a rustic private road in a residential area. Parking is available at the top of the hill -- space permitting. Once that is full, please find a spot to park on the surrounding streets. We will provide lunch for racers on site Saturday and Sunday. Please bring any other supplies with you each day as the closest food or mini-mart is one mile away. Porta-potties will be available on site both Saturday and Sunday. There is little natural shade or seating available so please plan accordingly.

Divisions/Classes:
Racers will self-proclaim division (Pro, Am, Masters, Women, Jr) upon sign-up to coincide with their ISSA ranking history for point awards based on event finish results. Self-proclaimed Pro Division will compete in the Pro Division in all events and ride the "A" course whenever a choice is available. All other self-proclaimed divisions -- Masters, Amateur, Women, Junior -- will qualify for an A or B Class grouping for Hybrid head-to-head racing eliminations on Saturday. Sunday's Tight Slalom event will offer two courses - "A" and "B". Pro Division/Class racers must race the "A" Tight course and all other divisions will be allowed to choose either A or B course. The B Tight course option will offer a lesser degree of difficulty than the A course and will in turn rank a lower result for that racer in the overall standings for the event. All racers will run the same course for Sunday's single lane Giant Slalom event. Class division cutoffs will be determined prior to the race based on total # of entrants and details of the lane choice option will be addressed at the riders meeting.

Racer Entry Fee:
$100 or $50 one day only per racer. Racers under the age of 18 MUST have parent or guardian present to participate/sign waiver. RACERS - PLEASE SIGN UP TO RACE -- USING THE FORM BELOW -- AND PAY YOUR ENTRY FEE IN ADVANCE.

Advance payment by Friday July 10 and after that, on site only. On site registration/entry fee payment will be accepted but please be on time and bring cash -- either $100 for both days or $50 for one day only.

Via Paypal through July 10 only to ID: lynnibob@sbcglobal.net -- noting racer name and division with payment. If you make your paypal payment to "friends" from your paypal balance, there are no processing fees charged so the full amount will be received for our race budget.Paying in advance will help us plan our final budget, prize payouts -- and ensure things run smoothly on race day. SORRY - NO MORE CHECK PAYMENTS CAN BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE USE PAYPAL OR BRING CASH TO THE HILL.

Event T-Shirts:
Each registered racer will receive one event t-shirt included with their paid entry. Please be sure to register indicating your shirt size (at link above) in advance. We must have this info NO LATER THAN July 1 to ensure your size shirt will be available.

2015 US Nationals Event Tee

Extra shirts can also be ordered by racers and general public -- for pick-up on site race days. Mail orders are also accepted. Shirts are $17 ea. - shipping cost is extra (ship within USA $22 ea, shipped International $32 ea). Please inquire via email: maria@sk8kings.com

Safety Gear and Release/Waiver:
Helmets are mandatory for all racers and safety gear (knee/elbow pads & full finger gloves strongly recommended). Each racer will be required to sign a waiver/release to gain access to the race course. Minors (under 18 years of age) must have parent or legal guardian present to sign waiver/release in order to participate. Download Waiver Release Form

Cash Purse and Product Prize Awards:
Cash prize money will be paid out based on the overall results for the three events combined for Pro and Masters Divisions. Must race all three official events to contend for the overall podium. The overall cash payout will be estimated/announced prior to event and will be based on entry fees and sponsor money collected.
