Yup, those are Foiled Concepts decks, mads by Gabe Steptoe. Gabe takes wood from trees that fell during hurricane Katrina and shapes them into these decks. I'll be picking mine up at the Dixie Cup .... can't wait. Here's the website: http://www.foiledconcepts.com

Yep, we are all gay. We don't want to all have boards that look exactly the same. And we don't want to neuter ourselves on a stair rail. We don't even listen to crap music.
Poor conformist kids. Maybe it's because they can't smoke a joint, have sex with their girlfriends, or find real rock-n-roll.

there is even more to come...
my very own board;) a modulated ROCKA. Steve was so kind to shape the mould and make this board even better! I let Donald tell you about the specs and special features... I just wanna say thank you Donald for making it happen. I think that this IS the most pumpable board you can get, and you won't find it anywhere else...
If anybody has any questions about it, and be at the nationals this year, just come up to me ask me...or even take a run or two;) Gotta go....
I see you there!

here's a glimpse of baras stuff for the rest of the year left:gog deck with a tight wheelbase middle:iron cross experimental with a hybrid wheelbase.this board features a very interesting kicktail gimmick which works like a foot contraption.supernice and easy to pump. right:weapon x punked up with a gs sgs wheelbase and hte same contraption gimmick.this is the board that killed the competition in europe the last few months.
also brand new is the cbark "bombs away" deck. comes in 4 different sizes:tech ts,tech hybrid, hybrid,gs. this board has been in the works for over half a year with a ton of input provided by cbark.long tail section for that extra control, slim middle section for cutting the cones and a very comfy front for easy pumping.riders reviews so far were superpositive on the functionality and the comfy feeling when riding this board, features a follow through concave to the tail.
all boards are made with a new superlight and stiff glass construction, different from the materials seen so far.available with wood or formica tops. more new boards are out by now and feel free to contact the team at the us.nationals or at the worlds to have a look at these amazing decks

Cam, Martins computer is down, but he's asked me to relay any messages if your interested.
The deck is a G&S Steve Cathy freestyle model in perfect nick. It was gripped on the underside and drilled to mimic the Sweeney set up. The board came undrilled so the only holes are the ones to copy Martin Sweeneys setup.
Its red. Contact through me, or he'll get back to you asap with more details. If you want pics I can take some when I see him over the weekend.

G&S Steve Cathay-Martin Sweeney-style!

Just had someone return an old board of mine to me....he only had it about 15-20 years! Its a G&S Steve Cathy 26" rocker that I inverted and used for "Martin Sweeney"-style tight slalom, 4ft straight, 5ft offset back in the day. It is in excellent condition, but I don't know what to do with it, as I don't wish to keep it and wouldn't mind the cash. It was drilled with a 17" wheelbase, so the rear holes are not where they would have been for its original purpose.
Do I: -Sell it as it is. -Restore it by re-gripping it and turning it right side up and finding a G&S sticker.
What do you think?
Martin.
ps. Now if I can only get my old Hutson of paul Price... pps. Don, the only bored person I know of in Ohio right now has been riding around in a wheelchair...

Hey Downhill Bombers,
I am in Iraq shaping boards from scrap 9 ply. We don't have concrete but a few sick dirt hills. I have been using earthboard trucks and 8'' wheels. I have not been able to master a good shape because I have just a skill saw and no way of making a concave shape. Therefore my boards have been bottoming out in the dirt. Can anyone help?

this board is an evolution of the G.O.G. board with a 20.75" and 22.5" wheelbase. it features a kicktail, concave to the tail and a newly shaped foamcore.it's approved by my cat and KITTY too i think. and now guess who's gonna show up with that proto ?
