If anyone has a high res transparency or slide of most of the local guys we can use that.

Or maybe I can find another subject to write about.

I know this is kinda "I'm taking my ball home", but I don't need this.

Isn't there already a million shots of the DC crew? Someone takes a group shot at the end of every Outlaw race.
...I guess you would actually have to show up to know that.

Also, I'm now endorsing Yahoo Maps: http://maps.yahoo.com/
Much faster loading than Mapquest.

Brian, get on Fairfax Co Pkwy South. Turn left onto Old Keene Mill Rd. When you get into Springfield, look for the sign for Frontier Drive right after you cross the road that the Springfield Mall is on. Make the next Right onto Frontier Drive. When you see the sign for Franconia-Springfield Parkway, get in one of the two left lanes, and enter the Parkway (the direction on the map is West, but I forgot what direction the sign actually says). The lanes in the right enter in the other direction... so you should just stay Left. When you are on the Franconia-Springfield Parkway, get over to the left lane. Take a left at the next traffic light, onto Beulah Street. Look for a little white churh on the left, and then make the next left onto Walker Lane. If you look for Walker Lane on Mapquest, search under each, Alexandria and Springfield. I call the area Springfield but it may actually be Alexandria.

I think the dump road is in broward county down near Hollywood, former home of (ollie's) Hollywood ramp, now home of his "perfect"(flat bottom all lasered to within 1/8") "OLLIEWOOD" halfpipe...indoors...skatelite arriving in 2 weeks.
but the YMCA park in West Palm is soooo sweet!
hey scabs, does the dump have those pipes coming outta' the ground to release methane? shoot, if'n they're firing up, it'll be a good place to get warm and roast marshmellers in the South Florida winter...brrrrr...heh heh

Speedboarders, cruisers, and bananas are all invited to the the paved cosmos of Newport Oregon to compete, converse, and get sideways. The date is set as July 20th and the time of arrival is 7:00am. A vast number of hills with ocean views and new pavement abound and groups may emerge to explore. This event is unsanctioned and under the radar.

slalom race in FL in janurary?
On 7/7/2002 scabs wrote in from (66.21.nnn.nnn)

This is from looking down the hill about have way. There is a flatter section above me but with some incline. Opposite the grass knoll on the left and more down on the right is a natural ampitheatre. Plenty of parking below. The only thing this site lacks is shade. Not a problem in janurary when you are looking for the warmth of the sun.

It would be intersting to see what interest folks would have to get away from the cold and race in janurary?

Bull Run GS Practice Course (Northern VA)
On 7/7/2002 lbk wrote in from (166.90.nnn.nnn)

Slappy found yet another da kine place to slalom. This place is killer for a GS Course and an event one day (camping area included). Today, Slappy set a GS course that took almost a minute to get down. Ohm ended up killing it with seconds to spare in front of the rest of us. My legs are worn out.
