) Ran cones tonight with Gumby first time in a long time, and a bro named Andre, he used to skate the Big O back in the day. Gumby posted an 11.120 on the timer. The bro was smooth and fast. I posted an 12.120 not bad for not riding in two months. Felt good. I aslo ate it at the bottom of hill. Hit some gravel and down I went. I felt good to be alive at that point. Just a few minor scrapes. Prodesign Pads from head to toe. I could hear The Clash blairing from vehicle as I got up. Here is hoping Andre comes out and runs cones with us again. It was great to talk to Clay T and Big Ryan over the phone, Big Ryan belated congradulations on your recent wedding nuptials to Sally my brother, I hope she enjoys the PocketPistol DitchKiller I sent you guys  I can't wait to see everyone. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws.

First off a big thanks to O G Marcos for throwing this get together in Austin Sept 30th. I spoke to Bosco today I a bummed that one of the most STOKED skaters on the Outlaws Team is still down, but he is still very supportive of the slalom movement in Texas. I spoke to Lou from Longview he reports he will be there. He is also recovering from a car accident. I myself am recovering from knee surgery, but I will be there god willing. I want to skate more than ever. I am really hard up for running cones again. Clay T reports he needs to start practicing but the STOKE level is starting to rise. Reports are coming in that Big Ryan will be skating the Sandia all around race. Right on bro. I hope Brette comes out and supports us, he is recovering from a knee replacement. A2 it would be great to see you my teamate. Will O G Mike $ show up? Will O G Gumby show up?. For those of you who have not run cones with these bros you are missing out. The STOKE is heavy at these gatherings. Curtis, Nathan, Russ, Carjack, Gorrillabiscuits,O G Brandon, Shredward, Woody I have your team shirt, Ryan, Sparetire what size shirt do you wear, Kevin and the rest of the Texas Outlaws start checking in. You bros have talent, don't let it go to waste. Lets ride bros. Your Amigo Eddy TEXAS OUTLAWS _________________ Never bail, ride it out, slide it out, just don't bail.

Cool. I think Clay went over there to check it out. We have been skating some spots just west of town lately that might be good for some GS. They are also close to the new Lakeway skatepark that has a 6' and 9' deep Peanut Bowl with 100% pool coping to cool of in after going around cones! Don't forget to bring your 35 mph+ skateboard as well. We have some real big hills to skate!!!!!!!!!

Here is the directions that I got. and I believe that you can see the ditch with Google earth.
From I35, head east on 38 1/2 St. When you cross Airport Blvd, 38 1/2th St. turns into Anchor Lane. Turn left on Manor Rd. At the light, turn left into the old Airport Main drive (I don't know if this street has a name). Go most of the way around the loop, past the tower, then turn right into the big sloping parking lot with the dark pavement. It's off the main road, and has a moderate slope. It's not a big hill, but it will make folks work on their pumping. The ditch is not too far from that parking lot.

Where is the location with a ditch near it? There are a few hills out west of town that would be good for some slalom!

TXO
You guys missed it! Courses were great. I went the fastest I've ever gone on Shady lane in the shorts I stole from Eddy last year in Chicago, I sang Folsom Prison with the band, served crazy margaritas and absinthe, and duct taped a guy to his hammok.
All that and we still missed you!

I would like tell everyone that the Outlaws are having a race in Austin on the 30th of September. Also the location has a nice ditch from what I hear. All are welcome, but know that it is an outlaw thing.

Howdy.
I am Jacob Alford, a student at Texas A&M. A group of friends and myself just recently formed a skating club with the university. I would like to during this fall semester, take a few of my fellow longboarders on a small trip. I have been through sanmarcos once and enjoyed a quick skate but am not truly familiar with the area. i was wondering if ya'll knew of anywhere within a few hours of college station that would be a Must for longboarders. thx, and gig'em

The Texas Outlaws were founded by Marcos Soulsby Monroy and myself back in 2002. I sent Marcos an email asking him were all the slalom races were in Tx. Marcos replied that we had just gone up a 100%. It was just himself and I, Marcos and his entire family came down to the valley were I live, he drove 5 hours just to share his slalom knowledge with a complete stranger, we came up with our Team T-shirt design and the rest is history. The team now consist of Texas Pool Sharks, ditch riders, downhillers basically all around skaters. I myself am recovering from extensive right knee surgery, but will continue to fuel the stoke that is DownHillSlalom. Some one once commented that we looked like a gang, no we are more like brothers. As Big Ryan once told me "I like to go fast and I like to carve". Were would DownHillSlalom be without O G Marcos Soulsby Monroy aka Rogue I do not know, but he is truely one of the driving forces is slalom in Tx. I am proud to call my friend and my bro. We have been lucky to have all around riders with so much talent in the past such as O G Mike Money, O G Mark Gosser aka Gumby, O G Brandon Brookshire aka BB420, Stubbs, Clay Towery, Big Ryan, Woody, Russell Duke, Turtle, Chris aka Gorrila Biscuits, Curtis, Bosco who tooks us to another level as far as promoting goes, CarJack, A2, Big Lou from Longview, Kevin the Hesh who rides on the ragged edge, Brette who also has a bumb knee, Will J are Cali Tx Outlaw, Ed Cole aka Shredward there are so many more of us out there. If I left anyone out my appologies. Bottom line is these bros have laid down some heavy lines as far as slalom is concerned, some have put their slalom boards aside for awhile, including myself due to an injured knee. It is an honor to ride with these dudes, some of the coolest bros I know. Here is to healing soon and getting race again Your Amigo O G Eddy Texas Outlaws.
