Modest....Don?
On 12/20/2007 Michael wrote in from United Kingdom  (87.114.nnn.nnn)

Don, you are too modest...I see you think the deck has flaws on the UK forum....but we both know there is more to makeing a good slalom baord than building a mould and stamping out decks....

Sams board has that ingredient you can't buy, its an element with no name, drawn from the ether, but found at races and in workshops late at night. Its the element that moves from prototype to prototype, via decks used in developement to the decks that riders purchase for their chosen pleasure.

Turners were never 'perfect'....they had an element of soul. I truly believe the Pavels now have that elusive elemenent as standard. Very few manufacturers achieve that....

Now sit down and pat yourself on your back.

Yes! WE shall meet again at DS 08!

And that walk sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!! My feet were so sore after that pock-marked surface. We rode the ENTIRE ditch, all the way to I-40, all 5 miles of 3 Mile. HA! I'll never do that again. Still glad we did it just to say we did it. I gotta get back to ABQ before then, though. I look forward to riding with ya again soon! And if ever in Texas......LET'S SKATE!

Top of 3 mile Chinese downhill.

My history exam on Monday
On 12/14/2007 Raymondo wrote in from Switzerland  (212.55.nnn.nnn)

Hey you fellow of a neutral nation,

my history exam on Monday is all about that stuff.

News from the capital of that other neutral country: the right wing is now in opposition....I don't know whoever cares about that...bla.

Do you want the total slalomskateboarding or are you asking for the unmakable tightslalom?

Oh dear, what can education do?

On 12/14/2007 Klangster wrote in from Sweden  (213.115.nnn.nnn)

Ja ja, du bist ok. Just for the records. It has taken our German friend over 60 year to be able to joke about Hitler and the nazis, so next time you see a Uberman, ask him how tall Adolf Hitler was:-)

Q: why did Tony Magnusson name his second shoe brand 88?

US ED.
On 12/14/2007 WAX wrote in from United States  (71.196.nnn.nnn)

Ramon..
High school in the US is pretty much a cakewalk these days. With the unchecked immigration from Mexico and the policies of our govt on education, the teachers spend most of their time trying to bring the ed level down to help those who cant understand our language pass the proficency tests, while intelligent students (like ZaK) breeze thru with alot less load than students in other countries. Higher education is another story though...tough stuff like what you are doing...
Good luck in your final year.

Thanks for clarifying Donald.

Acutally, I meant it pretty serious according to educational aspects. I myself just do not have any time left since school's got into the last year before graduation....so that's why I'm asking

Ramon....Give the kid a break, just because he doesnt choose to spend his time pursuing ladies like we all did at 16 doesnt mean he has too much free time, just different interests...
I am stoked to see the finished product sunday, they look like nice wheels, and its pretty rad that he has such drive and ingenuity

Hey Zak, what do you do if you are not on four wheels? How come you have so much time to fiddle around with wheels, bushings, boards, records, interviews...uhm chewing toothpicks...? Just curious. Nice interview though.
