The race yesterday was fun,Thanks DT! Georges you smoked 198,all 4.1 miles of it. You should see the other side. Mustang Grade is a kick @$$ road. I'm going back there soon and from the top this time, not from the carcass. To the young riders from Norcal, you guys shred for sure.just keep riding, work on your tucks and it will all come together you'll see. Just ride safe and have fun. The race was held on an alternate road due to the encounter with the MAN! It was a full on drag race all the way to the end. This is what the alternate looked like:

The time has come for the fifth instilment of the California Downhill Series. Race number 5 will be held on Fairfax Bolinas Rd on May 24. On the morning of the race all riders will meet at near by Stinson beach where we will have our safety meetings and draw our heats. Racers should arrive in Stinson Beach at 8:00am, we will be meeting in the park in the middle of the town. It is a small town you will have no trouble finding the park.
As early as we can we will head over to the hill and began racing the bottom 1 mile or so. After the race we will session the whole hill. 4 miles of awesome downhill on the front side and another 4 miles of challenging downhill on the backside. The hill is worth the trip for any rider.
After the race we will be staying at near by Olema camp site, please e mail me ASAP if you are planning on camping so I can reserves sites. On Friday, the night before the race, there will be a barbecue dinner at my house. Anyone is welcome to eat and pitch a tent on my law or roll our your sleeping bags in my messy room.
If you are camping e mail me and tell me so I can reserve campsite.
If you are planning on coming to the barbecue at my house e-mail me so I can let you know where I live and so I have a clue on how many people are coming.

got a website coming up or any info on the event? pictures of the course? who's the sponsor thats giving away 5 grand? thats kinda last second to announce what sounds like a huge race...
and august 9th might not be the best date as there are already like 4-5 downhill races in the month of august all over the country.

yo did anyone find a black (nomex/kevlar) fleece jacket?? it has yellow lettering that says massiff on it, my dumb ass lost it somewhere (most likely DC's house)...... I cant make it out to dump road but I'm gonna request some time off for the next one if i can... see y'all on the pavement
