I am looking for longboard and slalom riders in the Toledo and Ann Arbor areas. I am new to the area and primarily looking to find like minded riders to get together and run some cones and bomb some hills. If anyone is interested drop me an e-mail and we can arrange a get together.
Thanks, Jim

I followed the link leading to the international longboarders association ( ? forgotten it already ) and anyway is there any kind of an organized, administered membership? As in, you pay yearly dues or anything?

WesE,
The Slalom Starter kits that are available through HG never had a video... there was talk of adding one (may have been suggestions given) The kit as shown on the Grass Roots page hasn't changed...
Glen Darcey's video would be an excellent one to pass on to potential riders... HR

I recently referred a curious onlooker to GRS and the Slalom Starter Kit. He wanted an inexpensive board and video to send to his nephew. I just checked it out again and don't see a video as part of the Kit. Is it still included?

I wanted to contribute, put something back into the sport of Slalom Racing. So,what I did was tell John Gilmour to send you guys (Grassroots) half of my winnings from the Boston Race. Put it towards Timing Equipment or Cones for me. Thanks,Eric Brammer

66.: Took an awkward tumble this weekend, now I'm sitting at home with a badly sprained ankle. Couldn't happen at a worse time. Sorry but I'm really having my doubts about goin' to the edge.

Anyone else? If you think you might be in for some, shoot me an email or post here. This isn't a binding contract (at the moment), I just need a rough idea of total numbers so i can get some price quotes for diffrent quantites.
Lemme know...

RRR he be. I just learned of the Confederation of Provinces (and Territories) of Canada through a Jeopardy answer/question that they celebrated their centennial in 1967.

My back's all good now (thanks SpeedBall). Nothing like the slalom session on Memorial Day to shake the stiffness out o' these ol' limbs.
Tried sending out a couple of emails out to you Sir Speedy but they bounced around and came right back.
CKnuck aint no such thing. Being a member of any other group doesn't change his status w/us...

Footbraking...I smelled burning rubber! Gotta get some Wal-Mart shoes!
Chuck is addicted. He NEEDS that Indy offset that's (hopefully) in the mail. He LOVES his new Roe Hester. He wants some cones of his own to practice during the week. He will be ordering them tomorrow.
Chuck has a very red neck...he forgot his Bullfrog. Florida sun is unforgiving.
Thanks Scabs, the consumate host!
