Hmmm, SSS stands for a few things, its a very versatile moniker! Chi-Town Knuckleheads... To dj anywhere in Chicago is a dream come true for any house disciple, especially for a Sheffielder as we were the first UK city to really dig that s##t! (Cue post from irate Mancunian...!) Chicago Trax were gettin played in Sheffield clubs as early as late 84, early 85 here, we watched it grow almost from the 'get-go' Hence WARP Records which kicked off in 89 and changed house from the other side of the Pond. Thats cos WE KNEW HOUSE! Very last call for them mix CD's... let me know by email.
KHRT... Alan, I NEED a shirt! Large will be ok.... Let me know, cant make La Costa, wrong country!

Richard: It would be awesome to be able to see you hop the pond and take this country for a spin. Then I'll be able to take my new found friends from this party last night back to the "bass"ics. Let's get this party started...

Slappy... yes, that's my mix on the Guidance CD... workin on follow up EP for them, but Ive been sayin that for nearly 2 years! Like you say there's some quality people on Guidance, so it takes some balls to send em anything in case it doesnt cut it... more likely to see me on the forthcoming Pat Barry album for Toko in the new year which weve been finishing off. Toko 11 and 27 were me and Pat and me on my own respectively. Your free CD is on the way! PS can you blag me any DJ work in the US? Email me!

To clear the confusion, an EX-UP is one of those portable awning / sideless tent thingies that keep you out of the sun but let you check the action on all 4 fronts. If you can put up with a looney sarcastic wife, 2 toddlers and 2 tweens then you can hang at our oasis. Like I said water, tools, and a place to plant your ass when it's tired & hot will be there. My wife despises House music so I think we'll leave the tunes to Henry's Sound. It'll be good fun, a couple of friends, Bruce Brewington and a new racer, Brent Kosick are old buds from my Colorado ARA days. With these guys and loads of other friends and aquaintances (including my new skate family, you guys!) this will be the social hang spot. Let me know what else I can bring to help you travellers lighten your load!

Alan: Welcome back. How'd you like tasting things that were tasting you right back?!!!
I figured Steve wasn't going to make it after I checked in with him last weekend. That is too bad. I'm assuming you're still on the same flights? I'll see you at the airport. I'll have my cell phone, so try to call me when you get there, as the self-centered frequent traveler, I'll be sittin in the red carpet club if I get through security quickly. We'll need to break out our decks and slalom around the bar stools, that oughta be fun.
Regarding the roll-away: I was soooo looking forward to sleeping with Dave G. . .
Regarding the E-Z: believe it or not, your description only confuses me more. . .heh heh heh.
I am all set, have cleaned and rotated wheels so many times that I think they're back to how they were last time I rode (had a tough travel week this week, haven't had my deck out since last Sunday). And I'm traveling Monday-Tuesday, In-Laws get here Tuesday night so I'm entertaining until I leave for the airport. I'll have my brother-in-law and nephew out at Kingston Mines up on Halstead on Wednesday night if you wanna get together for a brewski.
Otherwise, see ya at O'scare Friday afternoon. . .

C-Money: Boardman refers to an "E-Z up" kinda like a kiosk to support those on the hard way down. It's too bad but stevem says he can't make La Costa, things won't seem so cozy but two beds and a roll-away will be perfect anyway. Now to make up a story to get out of work early on Friday which is a half-day for me anyway. Looks like things are coming together nicely.

Boardman: What's an E-Z? Thanks for the offer, I'm gonna be there, I assume it's somewhere to sit and tune the deck? Or a place to dock and hear some tunes? Or both?
How cool it will be to see some K-heads outside of Chi-town. Can't wait. See you then.

To all team members attending LaCosta: I'll be at the race, but in a spectator/support role. I'll bring what I have in the off-chance I can help somebody, or you "pros" can let me know what I'm doing wrong. Heading south from the rainy Northwest on Wednesday 11/21, so I'll be off the net. Call @ 541-912-2711 if you want to call me in SoCal, otherwise, see you in a week.
Tom Bosworth Knucklehead Racing Team
P.S. I hope to have the shirts with me in LaCosta for psYch0Lloyd's distribution.

Haven't checked this forum for awhile. SSS, when you first posted about house music . i started wondering if you were involved with the Toko crew since they are in Sheffield. i see it's true! Guidance is an excellent label! They've put out great stuff by a lot of my favs. King Britt, Dubtribe Soundsystem, Kevin Yost, DJ Deep, etc. I think I have a CD with a remix by you. I believe there's a remix by Jazzanova on the same disc. Insane! I'm sending you an email to get a CD. Mark Grant and Derrick Carter are playing here tomorrow night. Should be fun.

B Man... My mate still has Sasha tape from 2nd ever Renaissance night, Mansfield April 1992...it was an awesome night and tape still sounded wicked when I heard it last week for first time in YEARS. I supported him myself in Sheffield the week or two before that and another mate has that tape too... I'll have to start collating all this stuff before they all snap and are lost forever! Let me know if youre interested in getting these relics... quality is not awesome!
