On other news, I lost my cell phone at a baseball game (probably while doing the wave) and along with it important phone numbers. Please email your number(s) so I can program the new phone. And maybe right them down in a real address/phone book.
Numbers lost and needed...
Chuck`s McCreep`s Chaput`s Buddy Carr`s Gareth`s Gilmour`s Jack`s Howa rd`s Jungle Jim`s Michael Brooke`s Glen`s
And any of youse others....
I also have the Sprint PCS tp PCS free plan. Plus I have 2500 mins peak plan which I almost never come close to using.

Chuck, Seems like aloy of that goo has been going around. I suspect is has something to do with that Sahara dust that came our way over a week ago. Maube saddam pr the Taliban spiked that crap? I, myself, am just getting over the worst cold since I quit smoking cigs 4 years ago. I jad green goo coming out of all sorts of places...yuuuchhh!!!!
Maybe it`s all the stress I`ve been under, who knows? Hope ua feel better Chuckie!!!

it's really a great judge of character to see what people do when others are not looking. i know i cause some problems in public 'cause i speak with others as open as i post online. my friends TK and JG seem to do the same, although they both have far less confortational styles than i. i have read about the vlad/arab thing and i applaud vlad. two faced is two faced and no one should respect that. i have know so many gifted skaters that were total dirtbags. tony hawk and micheal jordan are pinnicals in their sports through supreme performance AND positive motivations.
if it seems that i kick dirt sometimes please forgive me. i hope that it is rearward in roost, rather than forward in posterting.
anyway, i'm in petaluma now and rode the park just this evening. suprised myself with a prestine over-rotated bs tailblock on the high bank. flip this bitch!

Actually the flatland Ollie was invented about the same time on both coasts. I watched Rodney doing them (called them "Mutt hops") at Sensation Basin and them saw a guy named Gary Figner (yes - a down souther in SD) doing the same trick he called the "Fig hop" when we were having a freestyle session with Mike (Gullwing) Williams in Ocean Beach about a month later..... Fig could pop them over the net on a tennis court at the time.
The ollie inventor will forever be debated. I saw AG blow minds with it in Cali in '79. Give him his props and get over it.

Arab,
A couple of questions if you don't mind.
1. Who is the fit, good looking blond guy you keep posting pictures of on the Trucks forum. I recognize the bald middle age guy, that's you right?
2. The pool photo from Concrete Wave that you've reposted on the trucks forum. You know, the stylie frontside. I had the same reaction to that as I did back in the Skateboarder Magazine days. "No way he made that!" I mean c'mon, your back truck is totally hung up. Fess up!
3. I'm coming to the West Coast for the Dogtown Festival. I'll make a special trip to to HB to bring you a present from all your friends on the East Coast. Just let me know how to get in touch with you.
Email me. Joe

And as for La Costa `01...
Everyone there knows the timing system was ahving glitches. Remember Don`s record setting time? Funny how he and the other slalomer (who didn`t think it so funny) came out of the gates together, and then through the finish line neck to neck, yet the times were a full 2 seconds apart.
As for my times? I took two runs. The second of which I slid out all 4 wheels on that stinger and lterally crawled through the following tight section trying to regain speed. And yet, that was the fastest of my two runs. What? And then Dylan comes through the course like his spacers have been removed and literally crawls through the course. Remember Howard running the cones with him and foot dragging to keep pace? Yeah, so some how Dylan posts a faster time than me, yeah right again...NOT!!
So those times and standings are whack...
But it was a great day none the less. Thanks HH for a great event!!!

Just for the record Vlad was not 1.7 meters up Arabs ass at Breck. Arab was tring to put all that s#@! behind them and offered his hand to Vlad. Vlad would not take it and walked away talking a bunch of s#@!. By the way spandex Vlad, you walked up to me laughing about me being a pro slalom racer. How much money did you take home that weekend? I only took 500 but I think thats more than you did.

Abuse of abuse?
Seems Arab carries a lot of weight on this forum. I didm`t appreciate Arab`s post with diss on me, and connecting with my bro Alan with the slam, so I tagged it with an abuse ratimg. And now I see mine, and the previous rating erased.
Kudos on you, arab, for pushing your fear factor onto the moderators, your negativity on skateboarding is making an impact. Finally you`re in the lead of the sport, of sorts...

"TK-who would keep me from getting in the top four? Gilmour? I've beaten him plenty, you?," -Arab.
Arab in head to head racing I don't think I lose to you unless I beat MYSELF through a DQ. I have lost GS races when I am riding a TS deck when I ride a GS deck for GS races I seem to do better. I've podiumed and won at FCR races....just think at a race without top pros you might have a chance to podium......nahhh.
Arab- here is a list of East Coast people likely to beat you in the Slalom at 'Da farm in no particular order-
Terence Kirby Chris Stepanek Keith Hollien Bobby Mandarino John Gilmour Vlad Popov Kenny Mollica Noah Heinle
That would give you an 9th place finish- and that of course isn't including adding skilled racers from Europe who would just push you even further out of the top ten.
And at a race with no top pros....well that would look like losing a fight to a girl- you'll never come, you'd expose yourself as being beaten by "East Coast bottom feeders" and how would that look? I guess it would look okay if you didn't back out. Besides you could always Dq and say something was wrong- or try to run a GS deck in a TS and have that as an excuse except that you own many many boards.
Actually it wouldn't look all that bad if you were able to complete the course without DQ'ing as you wouldn't be racing a slalom course that nearly any amatuer could make- thus proving you could slalom on a course that required a lot of skill to complete.
Arab- we're just funning with ya. Come out and race- you'll make race a real race by your sanctioning it by your presence. Lol
