My first love is street luge but I did convience myself to purchase a longboard. It is a Sector 9 deck with Independent 210's and 70mm Kryptonics. It makes me want to go fast standing up but my common sense tells me otherwise.

You're never too old! My girlfriend didn't get on a board until she was 25. Many people here are near or over 30.

HEY-HEY- Alright!! I'm planning on going to the meet in Fremont at Scott Creek Road on Saturday, and was wondering if I could catch a ride with anyone who might be driving from, or through San Fransisco to the East Bay. I'll gladly kick in for gas, etc.-

KUDOS- A tremendously thorough site. I started longboarding pretty seriously about a year ago when I moved to San Fransisco.
I guess that you could say I have had a pretty serious crash-course (sorry) in riding the steeps- The hills out here are insane-
SFO is 49 square miles, and there are 44 bonafide hills -this means that it is harder to ride a flat road than it is to surf the steeps-
Not that this is a bad thing at all- So I am looking for other kats to ride with- I'm pretty fearless, but I dig cruising too-
