Great page, Great sport. When the surfs not up down here we are bombing & carving hills on our 56" Fijian Ply customs. It's a catching sport here in West Oz, we are seeing more and more blokes on longboards every month. We just need our skate shops to stock bigger(longboard)gear. On Ya Dane Perth Western Australia

My partner, Michael Brooke, and I are getting close to launching a new magazine: International Longboarder. We expect 50,000, 16 page, full color mags to be in shops around the world in April or May ... and it will be FREE! E-mail us for costs to send the mag directly to you: Tom_Browne@goodmedia.com. We'll also be looking for contributions of pictures, editorial, and location/scene reviews and news. We're also looking for advertisers ... printing and distribution is expensive! By for now, Tom :-)

Hi I am a 41yr old with a 10yr old son, we both love longboarding. We live in Yorkshire with plenty of hills so there's plenty of scope for downhill on our Sector9.We;re going to try mountain boarding next(not on the sector9 obviously).Unfortunatly longboarding hasn't caught on here yet but with the steady interest in longboard surfing, it's only a matter of time...keep up the good work...love the vintage stuff Pete & Olly

Right on! This site rocks. Huge thumbs up, and thanks to all the designers and contributers. Longboarding is the way to go, forget that sissy kick-flip-ollie crap, try a coleman turn. Ya'll are the only place the gives some real info, take it easy. Anyone in AZ look for me on my Sector 9 Double Barrel, I'll be the stylin' one hanging ten.

I got my sector 9 from my brother and tried it out and i was blown away on how dope it was. Now i'm not a skateboarder but my friends that are have longboards and we go all around town looking for hills to cruise. We were the only ones to have them for a while until kids saw us with them. Me and my boy ride them to school and the boards are just big enough to fit in our lockers. its a phat way to get around Rochester NY.

Hey every1, thanx for representing this sport, im new to it myself, and realized the dope laid back feeling of long boarding, compared to more competitve sports. i like it, lets not change it. im from upstate new york, and me and my buddies all got boards, life is great*

Hey, I just started longboarding since I'm stuck away from the waves here in Davidson, NC (near Charlotte). I got a gravity 47" and love it. I'm still working on the slide thing. My and my brothers get lots of stares when we hit the streets. There's actually quite a few longboarders in this area, so if you're cruising through look us up, we'd love to skate with ya. Davidson's a nice small quite town which mean less traffic to ruin the decent hills we have around. ride on. stowe
