70 mph and so I crashed into a butchers shop window.It took
a while to separate the raw pig & cow meat from mine...

I am the guy form the UK who broke the stand up downhill record that
John Hudson had set way back
55.45 mph and then Roger Hickey broke my record on the same day 55.5
Oh well had a great time and it is good to see this site

Thanks Egg and Fuz. I thought a kook might be an inexperienced newbie. So,...a pretentious phoney crowding the lineup. Even web sites have 'em, like over in Riding Techniques, people should show a little respect for folks like, for instance, Herbn. I remenber Herbn telling how to true flatspotted wheels by putting them on a lathe. Now, that's useful information. And he's funny.

I know kooks are a pain in the ass, but mate, your giving it all this localist attitude, and over in my neck of the woods(Wales, UK)behaviour or comments like that just ain't tolerated. The short sharp shock treatment... Everywhere seems to suffer with over crowding these days. My local break has the tightest take-off zone(about the size of two cars)and about fifty to sixty guys scrambling for the inside, sure it gets on your tits when some idiot drops in on you and nearly makes your 6'2" thruster into a 5'8" Christian Fletcher square nose thing, but localist attitude sucks,its the worst, man. The idiots will learn, there is a hierarchy out the back at my breaks, and the 'kooks' are at the bootom of the pile mate. Everyone knows that, they just don't need reminding, baby!
