I was checking out the number of visitors, jokingly saying half of them were me,and evidently this a serious matter to Webmasters but it seems to me that with those numbers i'd see much more activity in the posts,i suppose there could be hoards of visitors that stop by read and then strool off mutely and annonyomously off onto the internet highway, doesn't seem likely, but personally i don't care, longboard sales are off a bit, regular boards still seem to be big, they'll probabely drop a bit,or level off.For instance this page's banner ad says 75 impressions a day ,i've been on three times ,posting just this once and there was one other post in more than three weeks.

Anzac Day also applies to WW2 and subsequent wars...perhaps there should be an ode to those who did make it back, to the state housing districts, farms, and their wives etc. NZ reeled for many years after WW1/2 my grandad says, very hard years.

Ode to the fallen: They shall not grow old Yet as we grow old Age shall not weary them Nor the years condemn At the going down of the sun And in the morning We will remember them Less we forget

Herbn, you may be pleasantly surprised by Lord of the Rings... the director, Peter Jackson, is acclaimed for good movies. Plus, it was filmed near where I live too..ahhhh....

Well another Thanksgiving has come and gone, the weight of the "average sized skater"(check the acronym:)on this page is now in the 220's , as for me a three hour mountain bike ride and a 40+ bumpy road DH skate kept that melatonin in check, and DO NOT SEE harry potter,i had low expectations and it still let me down, effects alone can no longer make a movie, and some of the substandard effects appeared to be(Attempted to be) hidden by darkening the scene. The trailer for starwars was nearly the highlight, just goes to show what hype will do,it would take a 44 to my temple to make me go see "lord of the rings" after hairy putter.Stay home and make a new board.

great site, nice information,,check me out @ skatelegends.com, I'm 40 and still skate my ass off regularly, sometimes even with Bruce! Bruce is just a kid at age 39! :)
I have never been able to decide if I'm a Ramp skater, a Pool skater, a Freestyle skater, or a Slalom skater... so I just keep doing them all.
I'm not a smart skater, but I know what skatin' is! - Lynn Gump

My fellow Long boarders, For those interested in surfing and skateboarding, your input on a surf-based skateboard would be very helpful. Currently, I’m working on an industrial design thesis project focusing on a sideways stance, mobile board that tries to capture some of the sensational qualities of surfing. These questions below were made for gaining insight from actual users, so if its not a hassle could responses from these questions be e-mailed to minodesign1@hotmail .` 1) Describe an ideal board that would cater toward surfers. What would it ride like? How might it work? What components would it include? 2) What type of physical appearance do you think a surf-based skateboard should have considering the styles of today? (Examples: aggressive, classic long board style, rugged, retro, ect…) 3) If your ideal surf like skateboard required wheels what type would you put on your board for maximum performance? 4) What is the best baring for an ultimate smooth ride and speed? The information that you shared with me is greatly appreciated! For those who respond to these questions, could I get your e-mail addresses so I can get some feedback in a few months about the progress made in my conceptual sketches?
Thanks for your added input, Mitchell (Kendall College of Art and Design)

In the early 70's we skated on Bruce Wayne kicktails with excaliber trucks and open bearing wheels. Then came road riders and trackers. Now,my bro rides a board made in Switzerland. Todcar is a racing fool. I envy his love for the sport and also wish I could have been there in Lake Tahoe. Keep riding hard you old dogtown wannabe. If I ever have a pool I will drain it for you just to see you kick Tony Alva's ass. Love those girls. BRO
