Damn there is someone older than me still doing this, Just surfin the web and catchin up on the latest. who bringing all this slalom to Colorado? They should be letting the locals in on these things,...or are they scared, They must know by now there is a whole slew of old rippers out here, and i do mean rippers, I'll post the dates to my site so the word can get around to the locals. Longboarder magazine just published a scene report that i wrote about our fine Colorado skate scene. Almost everyday is a dellima about which park to go skate, there are soooo many great places to skate it's not funny. check out the pics @surfcolorado.com and buy a tee shirt!!

Nice. When was that sydney swell Kanufi? Had 4-5' ruler
edges from the east this morning on the south island.

Saw 12' at huntingtons in '98, which ended up wiped out the
pier I heard later.

Not sure it was from an aussie who is over there, probably a seppo 20ft which is a normal 12ft wave anywhere else, but in any case its BIG.All depends on where you go out, some are bigger then others.Sydney swell has been good latley with a low of tassie and its heading your way.

Ive heard through the grapevine that the bigest swell in years is pounding the sth california coast up around 20ft from a huge storm in the pacific,i know there,s alot of surfers on this site so if you live near any of the famous big wave spots get down there and see nature in all its fury.Go out if your keen but me personally would have lots of brown substance floating around me at that size.

I was checking out the number of visitors, jokingly saying half of them were me,and evidently this a serious matter to Webmasters but it seems to me that with those numbers i'd see much more activity in the posts,i suppose there could be hoards of visitors that stop by read and then strool off mutely and annonyomously off onto the internet highway, doesn't seem likely, but personally i don't care, longboard sales are off a bit, regular boards still seem to be big, they'll probabely drop a bit,or level off.For instance this page's banner ad says 75 impressions a day ,i've been on three times ,posting just this once and there was one other post in more than three weeks.

Anzac Day also applies to WW2 and subsequent wars...perhaps there
should be an ode to those who did make it back, to the state housing
districts, farms, and their wives etc. NZ reeled for many years after
WW1/2 my grandad says, very hard years.

Ode to the fallen:
They shall not grow old
Yet as we grow old
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We will remember them
Less we forget

Herbn, you may be pleasantly surprised by Lord of the Rings...
the director, Peter Jackson, is acclaimed for good movies. Plus,
it was filmed near where I live too..ahhhh....

Well another Thanksgiving has come and gone, the weight of the "average sized skater"(check the acronym:)on this page is now in the 220's , as for me a three hour mountain bike ride and a 40+ bumpy road DH skate kept that melatonin in check, and DO NOT SEE harry potter,i had low expectations and it still let me down, effects alone can no longer make a movie, and some of the substandard effects appeared to be(Attempted to be) hidden by darkening the scene. The trailer for starwars was nearly the highlight, just goes to show what hype will do,it would take a 44 to my temple to make me go see "lord of the rings" after hairy putter.Stay home and make a new board.

great site, nice information,,check me out @ skatelegends.com, I'm 40 and still skate my ass off regularly, sometimes even with Bruce! Bruce is just a kid at age 39! :)

I have never been able to decide if I'm a Ramp skater, a Pool skater, a Freestyle skater, or a Slalom skater... so I just keep doing them all.

I'm not a smart skater, but I know what skatin' is!
