Does anyone LIKE the sector9 Cloud 9 series? They are the only S( boards that you can get in Vancouver, and I think they suck. What am I missing?

I appriciate other riders announcing their disputes with companies business ethics on the site espeacially when they are done in as mature a nature as this. I do not feel that this matter is out of place on this site Later

A post of mine has been removed from this site. This is the letter I got and my response. I believe it is very fair. This is the last I will post regarding this subject.
NCDSA WROTE: >Dem, > >Please keep your dispute with Exkate off our website. > >Skate safe, > >Adam N. >NCDSA
Adam,
I do understand your concern, but please hear me out. Of all the places on the web, I respect NCDSA as a gathering of information regarding the sport of longboarding. That is EXACTLY why I posted my letter to Jason on your site.
After many phone calls and emails to Exkate I still had not seen what was coming to me. I had been billed for a product I did not recieve. I tried for eight months to solve it privately with the company. This obviously did not work. I was lied to many times and did not want the same thing to happen to others.
Exkate is a business that in my opinion was not conducting itself honestly. In the interest of not only myself but to other consumers I posted this information on NCDSA. It served as an effective way to get results using the medium of the very powerful world wide web and warning other consumers about what was happening to me.
I believe my post was much more valid than many of the downright slanderous posts on NCDSA. There have been many times when people spoke ill of a product simply because they liked a competitors product more. (Their posts were not removed) I was simply trying to get what I had been billed for eight months ago. Is this not a true reflection of how good a product is? It's the best review there could be! How well a company treats it's customers is just as important as the quality of their product.
In all honesty I think Exkate has a great product. I appreciate forward thinking when it comes to this sport that I get so much pleasure from. But Exkate is a business and their practices were not up to par. Don't the other visitors to your site deserve to know this? Don't I as a longboarder deserve to be treated fairly?
NCDSA is a forum for all of us with an interest in the sport. Please do not censor it. If you happen to be friends with Jason and my posts were removed for that reason, I will lose a large amount of respect for your organization. If it was because you just don't want a pissing match, please see me as a consumer trying to get results using the most respected forum I know. That is your site. I hope it stays that way.
Thank you very much for your time and space on your site.
Dem

Does anyone know of a skateboard park at or affiliated with a public or private school (college, university, high school)? I am trying to get a park for my college in Colorado Springs and need solid research info to back up my proposal. I would appreciate any names or info. Skate on. Sam.

Here is something interesting..... We bought a bro a longboard and sent it in the mail to him (in ohio)... Here is a part of the e-mail he sent in thanks. Gotta spread the joy...
"hey dudes, I got the board. the day it got here, it was 70 degrees. I had a killer time riding. the next day we got 3 or 4 inches of snow. pretty crazy weather, huh?"
Spreading the joy of longboarding to those who need it! eggman

Notice: The first shout out of the season of super-skate adventures. The Blvd. Swell team is in training, Preparing for the season of riding. The slopes of Sugar Bowl and Alpine Meadows are currently fluffy and more forgiving than asphalt during high-speed bails. The McIntosh bros are shredding up the slopes. and supporting the Lucky Lager beer company. For lucky-lager bottle-cap quizzes and how to sample our sweetaaaasss decks, contact us here.

Just updated Nose Wheelie.
http://home.earthlink.net/~sturhann/nosewheelie/
It's not the feature on Santee Skatepark like I promised. I couldn't find the pictures I took, so I did something on Temecula Skatepark instead. Also added a new site of the month (for the first time in months, sorry), the Tony Alva Page.
By the way, I was thinking of hitting Temecula this Saturday the 1:00 session. If you need any info, email me. Later,
Chris

Thanks to everyone that's stopped by the Longboard Lounge so far. In one day we already have seven active members. New pics and links are already up and we should be able to schedule a chat in the next week. (This weekend maybe??) If you haven't done so already join us at http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/longboardlounge If you stopped by but didn't sign up, what are you waiting for? This is where you can talk to other people who won't look at you funny when you mention a Coleman Slide or torsion trucks. See you there..........
