An awesome board. It rides so smooth.The board was my dad's and he gave it to me. It has gullwing trucks and Kryptonics 70mm wheels.The bottom of the board was originally a wood color but then my cousin custom painted it the board is great

Skuda were the first REAL skates you could get in England outside of surfshops imports. They were made when urethane wheels came out. My first board with urethane wheels was a Skuda. tell me is it the original one which is flat and made of a hard fibreglass type material (like the original Z-Flex Jay adams) with a metal (covered) support beam running down the middle, Next model was the same but with a kicktail, then they made a poly one with one kick then a double kick ... high tech for the time they died a death in England when USA stuff became more available and people thought it was cooler to have a board made in the states than a European one !
I'd be very interested in buying it if it is the original type .. just becuase I always regreted misplacing my first ever urethane wheeled board !

Hey my Cadillacs are actualy a bit different now I look at the picture. Also have some old Rolls Royce hanging around in the garage. I don't really collect things just don't like throwing skate stuff away so i have a garage full :-) Mind you if you have some fruit smelling Hot Lips I lost my set and have always wanted some more :-)

Cadilacs were the first urethane skateboard wheel, but I'm pretty sure that there were a couple of models of Cadillacs that predate the one in the picture. Still, pretty cool though. The ones shown were the first urethane wheels I ever had.

How many of you knew that Randal first developed his trucks in the late 70's and first advertised in the February 1980 issue of Skateboarder Magazine with a 1/8 page ad on page 14? It's true! And they have come a long ways! Just thought you would all like to know.

Hey, Has anybody ever heard of these?
I picked up a set in near perfect condition at a swap meet. They appear to be pretty decent quality. I assume that they are from the eighties. They're pretty wide (axle width approx. 220 mm), and they are painted black. Any information anyone coukd give would be greatly appreciated.

As Far as the Rad Pads Go, The Black 29 Stacked Deck seems to look very similar. I ride both Long and New school decks and I have installed these on all of the decks I own

Last summer at a flea market i found a plastic board
with rad pads, california slalom trucks and RR4 in pretty good condition, all for 3 dollars, the wheels are not very fast but the rad pads are the best, they absorb vibration and turn more than tracker wedges, the trucks are a good relic of the 70's. Hey, is there a Powell Beamer somewhere?

California Slaloms were a particularly wide truck for the time. They were a real oddity as I recall, and I kind of shied away from them at the time, but would love to have a set today! I do not recall seeing a truck as wide as these prior to and for a little while after they came out. I guess we have to give credit to the makers of these trucks as early pioneers of the wide truck. If anyone has a set they would be willing to part with that are in good condition, please email me.

I bought these with a set of Turbo wheels in 1977. At the time, they were the best damn truck I could find. Light weight and quick turners. Only pain was the extra lock nut below the bottom bushing. Eventually, I switched over to trackers.

 These are typical of the early (1976) urethane wheels when clear red was the standard color and wider was better. These measure 2.5" wide! All "pre-Kryptonic" wheels had harsh rides and the super-wide ones were slow to boot.

 Bennetts were very popular in the late 1970s. Their most interesting feature was a plastic baseplate which was warranted as "unbreakable", a claim it never lived up to.

 Tracker had these on the market in the mid-late 1970s. If memory serves, there was the Half Track and the Full Track, a wider version of this 2 5/8" wide truck. My friends back then preferred the Full Tracks, but for tricks and high-performance rollerskating, the Half Tracks also had a strong following.

 I found these Magnum trucks at a garage sale with a bunch of other 1970s skate stuff. The concept is very similar to the Kapu and eXkate trucks except the torsional bushing is soft rubber and housed inside the diecast baseplate. The hanger is only about 2 inches wide, and the baseplate hole pattern is non-standard at roughly 1.75" x 5.0". The writing on the baseplate says: "Magnum Development. Mattel, Inc. 1977, Hawthorne CA 90250". I haven't tried riding them yet, but I understand they are extremely turny and prone to cracking.
