I can't seem to log on to sandboard.com. There was a post about a new park opening in Florence,Oregon. They give clinics there or maybe it was a grand opening thing and you can rent boards for $16 a day. They gave a phone # and I lost it.
Does anyone know about this place?
I would like the info. since I am a beginner.

Just want to extend a HUGE thank you to Dr. Dune & his family for putting togther a fun Sandmaster Jam @ Dumont Dunes this past weekend. Many thanx also go to everyone who helped out (Pete, William, Jason, Willie & his sandrail crew, Sarah & every other volunteer who helped out as well as the sponsors) as well as all those who participated in this fun event. It was my 1st sandboard contest & I can say w/ a huge sun-burned smile on my face that it won't be my last. I'm counting down the days until the next meet @ Dumont ! Thanx again to all & let's do it again ! It was truly a blast /;~)henry

Hello Superman!
Yes, South America has excellent dunes! We are so glad for you that you have so many wonderful dunes to ride. Truley you are fortunate to have access to them. Sandboarding is definately growing faster in South America than it is in North America. We are thrilled to see this happen. I wish I lived there too to help and encourage my sandboarding brothers and sisters. I'm not sure if you are saying the "Make Your Own Sandboard" recipe is to expensive to keep the quality or too cheap, but either way, thank you for the compliment.
We hope you have a fantastic new year and may Chilean sandboarding live a long and healthy life.

saludos Superman
English... (although they should know Spanish also!!)
hello to all the [sandboarders]. I invite them to visit the Chilean webpages of the sandboard, sudamerica takes it in this of the Sandboard. the improve dunes they are in sudamerica. here we don't need to create artificial dunes like the mount kaolino in Germany, here there is dunes on the 1400 meters high in chili, peru, brasil, uruguay, venezuela, Argentinean, etc.
if the future of the sandboard this in sudamerica, because they always look at in less the quality of South American riders....apparently dr.dune this but interested of the money that of the dunes, (if they don't believe me try to be made a sandboard using the method of the doctor dune. .jajaja)
greetings Superman

Just got back from Dumont with the "Ripley's Believe It or Not" crew. Josh Tenge broke his old back flip record of 44.1 feet to set a new world record of 45.2 feet. He also hucked a 52 foot 50-50 grab but landed too hard to maintain control. Ripley's is scheduled to cover the Sand Master Jam 2002 in April at Dumont also.
