yeah i think i know the road in cetennial park that kanufi was talking about because my dad lives in bondi, and i did a road in the park up near the moon light cinema when i just got my board and thought that it was pretty fast. Well fast enough for my first or second time down a relatively fast hill. kanufi also said that the obr team were up on barry white and trying to make it a regular thing, do you know if it is true or it just a rumor. because i am keen to go up there again with joseph. cheers daniel.

Jestah, if your interested "sigma" cycle speedos are programable and are designed to be fitted to rollerblades but the blades model isn't available in oz but the cycle model can easily be modified to fit randall trucks and krypto wheels. works well, I mount the display to the tail and records max speed, distance , current speed ,time plus a clock and alarm pretty cheap about $40 I think bought it a while ago.

I hate small mined ppl who say you cant do fun stuff.!!!!
We could find a loophole and say we arent skateboarding we are longboarding and they my little curly tailed friend are not the same!
Then when they put a speed limit on that we say we arnt longboarding we are speedboarding.
Had a ball this weekend in aucks.
Spent alot of time skating with the traffic on Krd queens and ponsonby. As well as some 50-70km runs out south.
Only buggered my wrist riding a bole in remurewa cause they have covered all the taging in slick house paint........ If kid are going to tag on equipment built FOR them LET them i say ...... rather than paint it and make it dangerous for all skaters
Thats all for now
Jestah
Ps over the next few weeks im going to be making a speedo for my speedboard all interested keep an eye on the home made decks or email me and ill keep you posted

Have they actually started to enforce that law know? well i cant wait to bomb a hill over the street speed limit and get bust by a cop and see what he has to saw. how are they even gonna monitor it all? i can kinda undertand the law in busy cities or pavments with lots people but if your in control on the road and flowing with the traffic while bombing a hill then i cant understand the problem. well actually i can, but its still not gonna stop me from bombing my favourite hills. ride till yours hearts contect my fellow law breakers and may it never it contect! sorry...the heart warming statement was called for. trying to revolusionize the world you know.....?!?!?

Hey Rick, I just scored a Kanoa Tri-beam-insane! I still have your thrashed blue jay smith, the yellow one I have is from someone else. Take care and I'll see you soon. The boys in Auckland, hi there, we used to contemplate a hill behind Western springs wetlands, we used to sh*t ourselves looking down it in the 70's and cars would stall trying to climb it, do you guys know of this hill and has anyone attacked it yet. i dont know if they got a new tree on one tree hill yet pity about the vandalism. i have not been in auckland for about a year but might be back later this year or early next year. orewa did seem good when i was there. there was a truck crash with chemicals involved that melted the road or something and i had hours to look out the window with a traffic jam from 10 minutes north of auckland to orewa. also check out murrays bay. huge hills but one got new pavement that was rough loose stuff which ruined it. seemed to be popping up all over auckland when i was there the poor road surface.
kanufi where they doing stand up or luge or what? tell me next time your in sydney and i'll meet you there and go for a few runs (i'll buttboard). also theres a shop in sutherland selling really nice cambered pintails by force complete with 184mm tracker darts red bones bearings and blank wheels which look to have been poored out of a kryptonics route 65 mold for 250 dollars!!!! also they sell 85mm kryptos for 80 dollars unlike manly blades which charges 120 or so dollars. going to try and talk them into getting randals.

One tree hill........ Has it got a tree? did they get a new one?
Ive also been told about mt eden? havnt been there in a bit but another spot to check out.
I think it would be worth checking out places like newmarket or the CBD late at night one say a tuesday .... no one is arond and its SMOOTH. Queen St is good during the day if you dont mind car trying to run ya down...
Jestah
Ps Orewa... look perfect . It has realy mellow hills for soulcarving and a few step ones for downhill or buttboarding.

Heya Tone
Heheh, just kidding! Its road days are over. Glad you got yourself a Hester. Mines safe and sound. I fight the temptation to put it on e-bay. I've almost got over selling the rest of my gear to you ;-) It's in good hands, though :) Did you see that Jay Smith going for big bucks on e-bay? I remember when your one looked like that. I saw a little kid at the Tuggeranong park on Saturday being taught on a near mint old OZI Skate complete. Short flat single-kick, yellow Power Pivot, soft yellow 64mm wheels, OZI trucks with blue plastic baseplates and actual _rubbers_. A piece of sh!t of course, but fun to see it under a new generation of feet.
I've been meaning to give you a call about other matters, one day. Catch you then.
BTW, guys, I'll drop in on Jack from Adrenalin today and see what he and his hard chargin' mates have got planned.
Cheers Rick
