Jeremy,
I'll be in Sydney Sept. 4th through the 6th or 7th. Then I will buy a ticket and fly to Queensland. Probably get a connection to Maloolaba from Brisbane? I still need someone to pick me up at the airport when I arrive. I haven't figured where I'll be staying yet either. It will all work out.
See you guys soon,
Cliff Coleman

Alright folks, it's time to start lining up the skating. let's make this a jam-packed summer with heaps of gatherings. Downhill, slalom, cruing, bowl-riding, whatever, bring it on.
I'm looking forward to trying the Force slalom boards, awesome stuff that they are being produced!
The first Sydney Outlaw Slalom Race tentatively scheduled for Friday August 27 at the Olympic park. It will be an evening race, dual lane head-to-head racing, hybrid course, so start practicing!! I'll give everyone more details soon...
Skate fast!

Yeah Gareth, Nightboarding is the s#@! when you live in the city. You can see carlights reflect of stuff around corners and over hills. That, plus the fact that there's less cars on the road at 3am makes it safer. The problems are less vision to see the road surface, and tears in the eyes. I got to get a set of clear "wanker" sunnies, just for nightboarding. Me and Kanufi we're at Glebe untill about 2am on Wednesday night.

Ian's a seppo? Can't help bad luck I guess. I think think he was just droppin in on the forum. Takin the piss I reckon. Just got back from a roll round my local. Anyone else get into night skatin? Bit dangerous, but the best way to enjoy the bitumen leisure trail with the least amount of traffic. Just startin to push my boundries with speed and hills. I'm a bit green to the downhill ventures. Wheel drift freaks me out a bit (bad experiences).
2 coopers in skateboard fueltank = random rider, take on anything (just ran the red on kingsway and elouera intersection)

Cliff in OZ

Hello guys,
I'll be finished with my work in OZ, (Darwin), on September 4th. I then fly to Sydney and have free time from the 5th, to the 12th. I want to split this time between Sydney and the Sunshine Coast area. When I get there I do hope to get the tour from you locals. No one knows the best spots more than the locals!
On my last visit, I also had a great time at a few swimming holes. If there is something you think I might like, let me know.
I'll need to arrange some sort of housing when I'm in Sydney, motel, hotel, couch or whatever. I think I'll stay about three days before visiting Queensland.
Looking forward to the visit,
Cliff Coleman
p.s. I'll get back with my exact flight itinerary in a later post.

Joseph,
Good to read your response. I want to meet and ride with all of you guys. The last time I was there, I rode with friends who live on the Sunshine Coast. I would like to stay there a few days to ride and hopefully run a clinic for those who don't know how, but want to learn to slide. The best dates for me to skate the Sydney area would be after September 5th. I fly in from Darwin the 5th. I could hangout with skaters that evening before skating the following days.
I'll post more information as my trip gets closer to departure.
