I bought this and realized I would rather skate larger decks. Didn't skate it much. It does ride nice though. All fibreglass deck, tracker small pivots, some sort of krypto wheels. If I have any info wrong feel free to correct me I am no vintage collector. I go by bean-a-reano on silverfish and have an excellent rep for buy/selling. $100 shipped in the lower 48.

Pete's wheels
On 8/7/2008 JBH wrote in from United States  (70.245.nnn.nnn)

Pete, those look a lot like Sims Nitros from the mid-1980s. Attached photo is from Transworld Skateboarding mag, February 1987 issue. I never saw them in the particular shade of green your photos show, however. So maybe they were some sort of special pour.

Anyone know
On 8/3/2008 Pete wrote in from United States  (68.110.nnn.nnn)

Anyone know what these are? All they say on them is Sims molded in. They are 61mm in diameter and 43mm wide, center set bearing, fairly hard, probably in the high 90's. They are NOS, however 2 wheels have a little mark on each. I bought them at a surf shop in the valley a long time ago and was told that they were experimental. I post the here in BST because maybe some one here is interested in them. No idea what they are worth. I paid about $50 for them.

Thanks,
Pete

Sean
On 7/30/2008 Eddy Texas Outlaws wrote in from United States  (70.115.nnn.nnn)

Hey Pauli how are ya bro. Sean was one cool bro. I first got to skate with him in St Louis at the 100 cone race back in 2003 at Tower Grove Park. I still remember him being a very cool bro, I remember that race so well. Seans wife was expecting a baby and Jack Smith went up to her and put his Bahne jacket around her. Later in 2004 with rain approaching at The Red Clay Cup in Athens,Georgia it was decided to run the tight slalom from the top of the hill. Sean came up and asked me if I was going to ride it to the bottom of the hill or jump of my board at the end of the TS. I rode it out on a tiny 28 inch board. Hairball. Sean jumped off after his run. We both laughed about that after the rain stopped the race. Funny there are some people with good STOKE you never forget. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws/Pavel Skates.

Paul,

Sean passed away about a year and a half ago. He was a little more active in the early days of our resurgence, so I think you missed him. Farm 07 was in his honor. He had four kids, so I'm doing my best to generate a $1000 a kid in their college fun. Maybe invested wisely it will pay for a semester's worth of books and a fruit cup in 2015.

Landyachtz Spud & Seismic 85mm/79a Speedvents
On 7/27/2008 JD wrote in from United States  (67.85.nnn.nnn)

Deck and wheels for sale only.

$85 + shipping for the deck.
$45 + shipping for the wheels.
$125 + shipping for both.

Taken from Landyachtz Website:

This is the mini lowrider. Because of its low stance, the Spud has the advantage of being easy to pump and foot break, while also being super stable and maneuverable. The shape allows you to rock the biggest wheels you want. An excellent commuter board or urban cruiser in a tight, compact portable size.

FEATURES:
Made in Canada
9-Ply Maple
Length: 36.75”
Width: 9.375" (widest point)
Wheelbase: 32”
Flex: Stiff

The deck is dropped really low so you can rock these 85mm wheels without risers. Less than hour ride time on these wheels.

Hey Joe, I'm not wanting to buy anything at this point but the name Sean Dawkins sounds familiar, I just can't put a face with the name.

What happened to him? When? Somehow I missed the news.

Do you have any pictures of him you can post to jog my memory plus it might be a nice tribute to him as well. Thanks - Paul
