Buyer said the item does not appear to be as nice as he thought. So I offered a full refund less shipping. 4 times I made this offer. Buyer wants to keep the item but insists that I refund some of his money or he will leave negative feedback. He won't return the item for a full refund, but want to keep it and get back some of his money. I give up. Ebay just SUCKS.     Rate post 316455 ! Sold something around £25, sent it recorded (in the uk that means someone must sign for it at the door, or its waiting at the post office if they are not in), The buyer left me possitive feed back, 2 weeks on, i have a -£25 balance in pay-pal, this was being held because the same 'easy transaction, prompt postage, thanks' 'BUYER', has told his credit card company that he does not know what the £25 payment to e-bay is for!!! So in order for me to use my Pay-pal i had to put £25 into it just to cover the negative balance, i also gave e-bay the tracking number, but they said their own feedback is no indication that the 'Buyer' received the item??? I was able to call e-bay, they understood my annoyance, but would not tell me what was going on? Finaly i had a Credit back to my account, but heres the cheeky bit, they charged me money transfer fees to recieve my credit!! I was out of pocket again. The moral... you can set up your account so people with neg feedback cannot bit, there are some other things similar on there take a look, ALWAYS SEND STUFF RECORDED (or your equivilent) Using Pay-pal you have the same rights as any credit card payment. I recently sold something small (25.00) on Ebay to somebody i didnt know. 3 weeks later, that buyer files a complaint on Paypal that he never received the package and they "hold" the 25.00 from my account. I write back and explain i sent it USPS 3 day priority, as promised...that i offered shipping insurance/confirmation and the buyer declined this. I also let them know i had almost 500 feedback with 100% satisfaction and the buyer, since the purchase, is now "no longer registered" meaning either Ebay pulled him or he closed his account due to problems.....also pointed out that he made 79 purchases in the two weeks before closing down ....and of those, he has 12 neg feedbacks (probably other sellers he never paid at all)...and his feedback was set to "private" so you cant tell. SO....i've got a clean rep and 100% scores He's a f#@!ing ass#@! who's been removed from Ebay and has problems I offer insurance he declines he SAYS the package never came (offers no proof) And Paypal rules in HIS favor because i dont have a tracking number...and takes the money from my account to give to him It's bulls#@!....but seller beware...theres too may thieves on Ebay...if you sell there, make the buyer pay for delivery confirmation....if this was a 250.00 item, i'd be out the whole thing.
