So Ian from Kebbek came to the birthday bash for Ottawa Sk8park with Emily and Malyka and Lukena and they gave C & I gorgeous new kebbek hoodies, thanks, and he gave one to Gabe and one to Dan. The kids loved theirs' too and wore them to ride on Sat night at Vorlages in Que. after the party. Dan wore his to school today, as did his friend and classmate Zach Boyer, a family friend of Ian's as well. You were well represented in the Grade 4 & 5 class at Lady Evelyn Alternative School in Ottawa today. Dan is still reeling from the serependipity of it all...

Tha Anniversary party was a blast. Less then an hour to go. Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to Concrete Wave for some swag. Ian at Kebbek for bringing them down and the new Racing Sweater.
A few local TV crews we're on hand as the Mayors "Chief of Staff" Walter Robinson stepped in as the Mayor was under the gun with the Budget.
The demo was nice few of young and old and featured bikes/boards & blades. The Big Screen was a big hit with some DVDs and Slideshow with all sorts of pics from the last 35 years and more.
Barrett & Civ the Nations Cup Trophy is in it's showcase and you'll get to see it when you visit us next time.
C-you all soon.

Help! I have to meet in front of the Mayor and the rest of the councillors in March. This cement park will be over 30,000 square feet and will be a combination of street, flow, bowls and banks.
We intend to start building it Fall of 2007. It will be located at Dufferin and Hwy 7 (just behind the Canadian Tire)
I need as much ammunition as I can get
so, please email me at mbrooke@interlog.com
Just type "I want a skatepark in Thornhill!" (feel free to add anything else)
and include your name and I'll get busy printing !
thanks Michael

Hey folks,
My name is Craig Jackson. Myself and 5 others will be traveling from St. Johns, NFLD to Victoria, BC, documenting our nation wide Longboarding scene.
We want to discover what it is that is fueling the intense growth of longboarding in Canada? Meet The local scenes from east to west, explore the thriving race circuit, and skate with and film all of you at your knarliest local spots.
We want to capture the stoke and excitement of this vibrant community.
check out www.ongozacanada.com for more info on the film and the crew behind it....
What we need more than anything are contacts Canada or US. We want to be sure to meet up with as many riders as possible....
There's also a chance to win a free Kebbek longboard (Jim Z model). You can sign up in the "skate with us" section of the site.
We're stoked for this project but we can't make it happen without your help.
thanks so much,
see you all soon,
Cheers,
Craig www.ongozacanada.com

My provider won't let us upgrade to a more secure platform, really annoying actually.
The DRAS auction is idle at the moment Chris, so the best thing to do is just log onto Silverfish and announce your intentions yourself, it can be the next thing up on the block.
Thanks again.

It was a great year everyone... Claude, you were a machine this year... an inspiration to everyone on and off the team. A great ambassador to the country and to the sport.
Civ and Barret, you guys are my heroes. Keep charging.
To all the MTL crew who put free-riding first and racing second I say congratulations, and to the hard working travellers who got to those backwoods towns all over the planet to throw down some good runs against the best... Right ON!
2007 shall be a good one too!
Love to all

Happy New Year to everyone. 2006 was great! Several events held in Canada and more on the way.
Looking forward to watching all the young'uns rip it up this coming year, (U2 Pierre).
A big Thanks to Mary-Beth for everything and keeping me inspired and providing the drive to keep me focused on my racing for a change.
Thanks to everyone for the Birthday wishes. It's so good to see everyone at races and such but these little things are special!
