Are there any ditches in Ontario around at all?? I know I saw one in Toronto a long time ago, but it was all over grown.
Are there any others around?

So I just moved here from ontario and I'm really looking for some nice hills to bomb in Calgary... preferably accessible by transit. I messed myself up pretty badly about five/six weeks ago (double wrist fracture, dislocated shoulder, shattered tailbone and messed up back), so I'm taking it a bit easy for now. But I really need to break in my new board. So if you know of any nice runs, let me know.
I'm also really interested in slalom, but I can't touch that till my back gets a lot better.

Brad - We were talking about maybe Sundays. The devious plan is to do it in Confederation Park and/or Prarie Winds Park--that way the cats with wives that won't let them play long can come out, spend the day in the park and bbq while the boys play: Slalom, downhill and tunnel-banks sessions. Dig?
Likely be a Millennium session in the evening as well.

That's the plan, Brad. Sort of... I have to have my miniscus and possibly my ACL fixed here shortly--screwed it up bad two-weeks ago. But my new slalom plank arrived (PPS LTD Chicken Dagger) and I'm jonesing for conage (and some pool action--killer new wood vert bowl in Edm.!).
Saw Chuck today, he's into it bigtime--as soon as he finishes licking his wounds after plastering the pavement in a hill bomb gone wrong Sunday--he caught air on one of those Land Yachts drop down boards and ate s#@!. He'll probably be good to go in a week or so.
Rodel's a cool cat--dude is all stoke.
Apart from my crew, we could probably pull in The Heib, TerOrr, Jeff The Chef, and a few others as well.

Yup, I'm also looking for Calgary info. I'm mostly a park rider but am itching to do some downhill longboarding or slalom. I know Billy at Rednik's has some info but he's never there when I go. Rodel

Brad, Congrats on your 3rd place in Seattle. Quite the crew out there. It's nice to see you getting out there for some Prep for Canada Day.
Civ & Pierre are eager to meet you. Just as eager as you to kick my Canadian #$$.
Let me know what you booked for arrival and departure times once you book.

I'm supposed to go tomorrow but the weather doesn't seem to cooperate, i guess i'll decide in the morning. Right now the forcast goes for 50-50 rain and windy, not too good for slalom... You guys are interested in comin? It may be better to wait for a better forecast.
I'm getting a little faster with my ankle, i may be able to put some pressure on Claude july 1st.
