yes!! we are having an awesome slide jam June 2nd at midnight here in NYC hosted by Cliff Coleman himself!

I am the happiest man on earth, even with my 2 foots completly smashed from a bum fight i had with a guy trying to enter my house this morning, at 5h30am. I tasted my survival skills, i won.
I will be in Ottawa for the slalom race. I am letting the slide world a little on the side to concentrate in the other discipline i use to do when i started. You have to thanx Claude for giving me these crazy bushings in Paris. I am enjoying them since then.

first youll need some gloves. some strong leather ones the kind welders use. or any thing you feel is strong. youll need 2 CDs yes CDs ones that you dont kare about and would throw away. and a roll of duck tape.
first step get one CD and tape it to the palm of the glove (it dont matter what side you use on the CD) tape it like you would wrap a cloth on your palm if you cut it or something. now get some peices of duck tape and make that sticky outside ring thing the one you use to put up pics when you dont want to see the tape. get three that would fit on the CD without it coming off the edge of the CD. get the other CD and place it on top of the other CD. make the CDs flush together. sit on it so the tape stick real good. BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! know you got some good sliding gloves. go out and skate and make sure to wear a helmet j/k.

russell, marie and i are going to paris and le cote d'azur to visite family august 4-20. if you're in town then, you can stay at my place if you'd like -bedrooms + a small car (stick shift!?). ma maison est facilement pour ta famile aussi. la famile de skate est grande et j'espere que t'a beaucoup de place quand tu visite san diego!? et, finalment, l'amour d'en enfant est la plus forte chose dans la vie et c'est la cause de vive bien. mitchell et mois est finis parce que il me veux d'abandonner mon fils pour lui - c'est stupid et impossible de faire ca, je ne peux pas l'aimer encore. les enfants sont premiere et il y'a beaucoup de temps pour moi d'amour un autre. c'est le plus difficile decision dans ma vie, mais aussi, c'est le plus inportant/bon. avant de regarder la figure de TON enfant on que ne peux pas comprendre. le skate/surf/snow aide moi de vive et vive bein dans les jours qui sont triste. je t'embrasse
i KNOW my french needs much work, but thanks for not laughing too hard (or at least in my face!?)

the key in learning to slide is wheel hardnesss, which is way more important than deck size. harder is much easier than softer, but way more reckless if you want to carve etc.
tech slides = hard wheels to learn then whatever.
slides in general - don't matter 'cept the need 4 speed is vital on your end up on your ass.
oh, i just got a surrender to 360!!!!!!!!! stoked for getting my tech slide fever going! this year after watching true sliders rip i got that sliding is NOT only for ditching speed or stopping - it's ALL ABOUT STYLE and TRICKS!

is 38.5 too big too learn how to slide? i know nothings impossible too slide but 38.5? im not sure. the set up would be 40" drop thru deck with 38.5 wb, randal 2's, and 66mm 88a kryptos
