Has anyone put the wires for lights inside the deck during construction to neat,n things up or would the flex make them break.I was thinking of doing it ,maybe run them on the outer edge where flex is at its least instead of down the middle where it bends the most.

Try that super grippy naugahyde those couchs that try to tear your skin off your back if you try a slide over:), i think it's naugahyde, made from the free range nauga,it's off the endangered species list, finally,it's had twenty years to repopulate since the devistating mass harvesting of the seventies.

eh cheeto, i'm gonna do one better. i am gonna do a lowered board with Aebc 11's and polished out indy 166's. i am going to do it in high gloss black til it shines, chrome the edges, drill the nose and set in two "headlights" using halogen bulbs. to the rear i will do a red LED. on the bottom there will be a highly polished Carrera script. the difference is this board will be ridable.

While out at the IGPA/MSRA world finals in Vegas I got to see many aftermarket parts for peds (and anthing else you can throw a motor on) But what I saw was something different, I wanted to throw on my longboard, and my ped (and go-quad) Neon Wire Technologies The string was only about 20 dollars, The output of light is a lot considering that they are only using 2 AA batteries (now I just have to figure out how to mount the batteriy unit on the board so a sudden jolt doesn't make it fall off)

Has anyone tried/seen these brakes? They might solve a transportation issue I've had. High traffic hills & stop lights on bitchin' hills. MAX

not sure but they looked old to me. also had been coned to about 50mm at the inner edge - maybe 53--55 at outer edge. in other words, they were fluted so he was constantly riding a flexed/resisting edge. the hardness limited this flex and allowed for some speed -- and Gary knows how to push a board hard down a hill.

Fast wheels in slalom is probabely not a good indicator of fast rolling wheels, especially tight slalom where traction is traded for speed with the pumping action, dead ,nonresilient urithanes can get excellent traction.Does(did) Cross use original oldy OJ's or were they later models?

Geez Herbn, I ride the suckers because they grip.
I can get them to move as well.
Ok, so they aren't the 'Fastest", they are skateboard wheels, not fine china. I put em where they belong. Under my skater.
And, they do make fine rollerskating wheels. Albeit, expensive ones. but hey, it's all about status at that point. Lora has the coolest skates around. How many folks can claim to own Quads that make the skateboard guys jealous?

Sorry, but i don't get it???? Slaloms, Hots,Superjuice, slowest slower, slow,OJ II light sort of fast compared to what was out there at the time, But just hang them on the wall, and buy some Stingers.Unless of course you want slow wheels??? then you should just lube your bearings with blue threadlock.

OJ's for Lora's Trekkers

I have bought OJ's from England in the past [I have had several sets].
But these came from Alvin at kickturn.com. Really nice sets. I need bearings for them so I can post pics with them both set up. Pleasure Tool of course.
And a big THANK YOU to a Mr. Alan Sidlo for making Lora's dream of owning Tracker Trekkers a reality. I thought thatputting OJ's on em would be over the top. I see that I'm right about that.
Thanks to Hugh and Alan for such generosity. It will not be forgotten.

Actually that set belongs to Bobo's gal Lora... Thanks to the kindness/generosity of A "knucklehead" S, I still have my un-ridden set of trekkers, and she was able to get jazzed too!
So I am not sure where she was able to come up with two sets of those OJ's (maybe she or Bobo will illuminate the situation for us!) HR

I've been riding a skate w/one truck and two wheels since the 70's and know how much balance needs to be built on this invention to accommodate a person w/o skill. The only problem I see w/this contraption now is that the people who had to walk will do without their daily excercise.
