Rick, You have always been a class act and that still remains. Your statement "my kids need me here not in New york or maine or Wahington state or San Fran. or overseas" is proof of that. Some of us did not realize that wisdom, until it was to late. You and your kids have alot to be proud of and need to remain tight. Remember you will always have an extended family in this community of speed junkies. I can tell you though.... always keep a board close at hand, cause the kids will abandon dear old dad from time to time and it keeps you young.

The sun is staying out longer now and the birds are singing. I have no regrats ! Sometimes in life to move on you have to put somethings behind you. Speed on my skateboard is one of the things that I will put behind me. Think we found the right person to take my place and its all good. I did come back, again and raced a few races this past year. The passion is no longer there for me. Time for this man to be happy and let this sport go. I am very into my kids right now as well as starting to date, surf and all the pure things in life. I have no need to ride anymore and nothing to prove to myself. So sick of looking for help to race and now my time is money, cant make money racen my skateboard and my kids need me here not in New york or maine or Wahington state or San Fran. or overseas. Have to go pick Breanne up for soccer now.

I remember the first time I saw Captain America, (was that 99?) at the Gravity Games racing Biker in the 2 man. They said this guys a roofer from southern CA and as the camera panned we all got to see a lil Kludyville. Rick you are one of my heroes and I got to watch that video ( the raw footage ) on your TV just 2 weeks ago, quite an honor. You have helped me at so many events and let me in on some tricks, that I'm still trying to use. Your still gonna be here and no need to get all gushy but thanx for being a hero to alot of us. Dude you rock can't wait to hear your outta retirement!

That place is nuts. If there is a head wind you are doing like 40 mph and if there is a tail wind which we had Sat. its close to 50mph or more. Sundat was wet and the riders where nuts and told me it had some grip, I think they all where high !!!!!!!!1 I want to thank my long time sponor Gullwing truck and also the Sector nine company for , as always with our races putting up prizes. Thanks alot you guys and girls for you loyal support all these years.

Thanks DC you rock Bro. Who ever is running munsville race just know that the town puts it on and they are what this event is all about and who ever is at the start line you have to have riders coming down the hill the whole time. You have to ditch the bucket thing and the parade run need to be dones in the down time when you are trying to figure out the stand-up finals or there about. If you need time to get your stuff together let the stand-up riders go at will and show off for the town. The down time kills any hopes of alot of people staying. Stand-up is the show so just keep the young bucks running between heats and any down time. The kids have real strong legs and love showing off. Use them as a good ring master would and you give that town one great show ! You dont have to get it right so much as have to do it right for the fans ! Do this and you win !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 If you have a small class of riders in a disipline dont freaking run them 6 times. Run them once and send some fun fast riders down the hill. Running 4 bikes six times is a crowd killer ! If a 12 year old kids takes 15 mins to get to the bottom run him when you have the time between racen because he is just loosing daylight for real crowd pleasers! He needs to ride so let him because he will be 16 soon egought and killing it but dont hold things up. I love Munsville and the people there, its not hard to give them a show, it is hard to do whats right for them. Freaken do it and I may come. If what happened last year happenning again your e-vent is toast !

After Brazil my traveling days should be over and this is the longest I have been with missing with one skateboard or another. Every other days I will lookat my speedboard and all I can think about is Munsville, New york. That hill is the sweetest road I have been on that can hurt you in a heartbeat ! One year I laid it out and had a blast. One year sandy had my head up my butt and I got drunk the whole race, dont know how I did because I dont remimber. Late year I just wanted to see if I could race safe and you know what I did ! I have been to so many races I lost count but the race that I love the most in Munsville. That freanking town , I mean the whole town just loves our to death and shows it the whole time. Even after the race is over ! As I look the the future I will always have some kind of a board under me wanting to go fast. Even with me not riding , all I can think about is that hill , deep in the contry side of New York were the town just dreams for the end of july to come just knowing the skateboard racers are coming to town ! If I did not back off , I wonder how fast I could go ! STAND-UP RULES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1
