So we got a foot of snow last night just after a week of warmer temps. I saw some street cleaners out this week but after seeing a car on its side this morning more cinders are on the way. Great to be in Cali last weekend and warm up! Vail closes April 13th, it's the biggest snowball fight in the World! Drop a line if ya wanna shred before it's all over. Street Swell just launched there site. These guys have been helping with races and freerides over the years and will continue to support what we do, because they like to ride. So far I can only afford one of the hats but they've got a bitchn logo. www.streetswell.com You can pick your wood and shape and your nose! The most beautiful boards in all the land.

Rob,
So glad to hear you and everyone is having so much fun! I f I ever race Downhill again, I hope to share a heat with you. The boys from Berkeley, JM, Noah and Rizzo are all awesome!
I'll be in the South of Brazil for about two more weeks. They are having a Downhill, a Slalom and a slide Contest 4-5-08. I don't have leathers, but I will race the Slalom just for fun.
Later, Cliff Coleman

Brian, I do have lots of plans for free riding up here this summer and will keep you posted about Go Skate Day. I think your right, I had a great time riding with you guys from the front range and was happy to know you guys are in it for the right reasons. A pleasure to exchange hills with you as well.
I have an early flight in the morning and will drive to the airport tonight under the cover of, well there's a pretty good moon out. At least it's not snowing. DC's is gunna be fun! I'm bringing a shirt, helmet, board, hmmmm, oh wheels...gotta go pack.

thanks for waking me up this morning rob. snowboarding in Vail would be sweet but i really don't want to pay $85 bucks for a lift ticket. hows about we meet halfway at WolfCreek? i know they are extending their season till the end of april cus of all the snow they have. lift tickets are only 40 something bucks up there. plus they have the most snow in colorado. i was thinking of taking a trip up there with Mr. Jon "can you hold my camera while i win this race" Huey since he will be in new mexico for 3 weeks. how does that sound?
also...lets talk europe trip planning when we're in California.
now, should i bring whole wheat or regular flour?

K thanx, She was the lady that thought I could do no wrong, then I got older and everybody in the family realized kids grow up to be nothing but torture for a life that...Oh sorry...Yeh, skateboarding, yeh. Hope your girls are still perfect, Madeline must be? 20?
Huey thank you for covering your face with that camera! I wonder just how many incredible photos you've taken that we might never see. Do you have a professional website? I look forward to you wondering what to do this summer, skate or shoot? "Can you hold my camera for a minute while I win this race?"
Sounds like Andrew will have more criminals in his van than any Califlournia Correctional Vehicles. Spring is Thursday and it looks like white clouds are in the forecast.
Vail closes April 13th if you wanna come shred and ya'll start thinking about getting here before or after Ditch Slap, my door is open
gone riding

Hey Robbie, Was so sorry to hear about your Grandmother. My thoughts, good wishes and prayers are always with you. I know you loved her. I remember some of the stories you used to tell me about your Grandparents, and it was so evident that you loved them as much as they loved you. I read the post your bro wrote about having a son :) Looks like you're it, hehehehehehehe! Ride safe. All the best, Always.

I don't know whose been in the family longer, my brother and I or the Redskin season tickets. Grandma would always go to the Dallas vs Washington game, those were her tickets. 3 Robert's and other grand kids, cousins, a bunch of knuckleheads she had to put up with. I had an odd conversation with this stranger on the chairlift about Frank Sinatra. Grandma was a HUGE fan. I don't talk about old blue eyes often but for some reason this guy and I were talking about the "Rat Pack". I would have called her for the answer to a question we had but the lift got to the top and he was gone. Later that afternoon I found out about my Grandmother passing. The World's a crazy place, somebody should sell tickets, I would buy one. Thank you for the kind words. She would want you to raise a glass.
The board is called "The Patriot". I've never seen anything like it. The boards coming from these guys are works of art. I keep getting updates from John at Street Swell and photo's of the boards he's making and just blown away by the beauty of these boards. I think everybody should have 1 vertically laminated exotic hardwood deck. I'm saving up.
Keith, Thank you for getting my Radikal hanger here so fast. Thank you, looking forward to racing it next week. The Concrete Wave Buyers Guide photo of your trux looks great. ColoRADIKAL.
Lookout must have gotten snow last night? I got 8-10 up here and more on the way. Ruppert get up here Sunday or Saturday night, and bring your harem.
Doug Dupin...the ORIGINAL crosstown hero! He stepped down so you other switch pushers could have a podium now and then.
Kevin, May 11th looks like the day for the "Vail Pass Time Trial" 6 miles of downhill to Copper. There could be (will be) snow in spots. Solo runs pea picked you against the clock. format will come. You should all try to make this. If it's a bust, which It will not be. I got lots of mountains to ride, not hills. Marcotte, Ditch Slap? Gotta go shred...

La Troisieme, Thanks for the goods. Great story about running down the snappers. Sounds like they may have to build some fortifications. I'll climb into the attic to ferret out some Migration Touring Boards for you. -Doug RIP Grandma McKendry -sounds like she reached a ripe age despite a life comsumed by so many Roberts.

3 last night and maybe 10 tonight. It's about time to start complaining to the town about all the cinders on the road. The street cleaners have been working here and there but the roads are goin to be dusty til it rains. The runs have been hard and fast. Got my boots on but the light is pretty flat. I've been bombing the sharpshooters pretty hard. We got these guys who shoot photos of you skiing and they usually sit in the middle of the run and there's a sign b4 you get to them letting you know there around. So I ride fast and straight line these guys. They have there camera pressed to there face taking shots of me til the realize I'm not turning. I can get within 2 feet I'm guess 50-60mph really great way to get out my frustrations and give some kid from Mexico who just moved here somthing to talk about and a great photo. Those sharpshooters don't last long I know guys who do the same thing and we all tell war stories of spraying these nubes over shots during apres. I have several jackets and onepiece outfits to keep the sharpshooters guessing, they never know which ones guning em down. My grandmother passed away yesterday. Real fun lady, great memories. Grandma McKendry. Gone BOMBING
