Hey Olson,

We had a whisper down here that you were going to show for the Globe World Cup in Melbourne last weekend. Saw Lance but no Steve. Guess it was just a rumour huh ?

Bear race you were talking sh!t and I had to smoke your ass! Apparently
the sh!t talk hasn't stopped- and either will the smoking! I hope you know that
we will force you to change any park slalom course that you think you got wired
by running it over and over up until the race...

We don't care about the Bear- Set anything you want; just like you did year one.

Set anything you want at Indian School too- Doesn't matter what you set- Sh!t is gonna' be GNAR!!

About the FonZ:::::::::::

One time in 78 or 79
I was driving down Melrose
Hollywood, Ca.
With some freinds, Punk Rock
Types.....
Low and behold who pulls up next
to us, but the Fonz.....
We got all crazy, pointing and s#@!
Screaming at the top of our lungs....
In Excitment......and totally stoked
The Fonz, looks over in complete
FEAR......as though we wanted to
Kill Him.........EGO comes to mind......
Next thing you know, he speeds up
and starts driving crazy....tryin to lose us....
Lil did he know we could drive a f#@! of lot
better than he could......So the chase started....
The Fonz not being very cool at all.........and driving
more like Ralph Malph........The more he tried to ditch us,
the better we drove........pressure, not one of Henrys better traits....
On his ass, the crazier we became.........
Then we realized he was not that cool, just a frightened
lil actor head running for his life.........or should I say
DRIVING for fear of his life...........
We became bored rather quickly..........
And let the Fonz drive off........
We always wonder if he blood pressure
was a lil high, like we were......
The lesson to this story.....
I want Pinky and her back up Singers
Trivia: Who played Pinky ? ? ?

While we're all amped up predicting the future, I may as well chime in too:

The Bear will be won by Ryan Armendariz
Sk8 Park Slalom will be won by GI Joe
Indian School will be won (again) by Will Brunson

It's possible that a BLR rider may take 2nd at each race and win the Overall Award which is the TRUE test of skill in ABQ. My prediction is John O'Shei or Palmer.

Will we see Olson in a full face at the Bear?

MY MONEYS ON PALMER TO WIN THE INDIAN OUTLAW, OLSON TO TAME THE BEAR, AND BUDRO

I'LL BE LUCKY TO PLACE TOP TEN IN ANY OF THOSE RACES! AND I DON'T CARE
ANYWAY - I'LL BE THERE TO RIP WITH THE ALB. LOCALS - COOLEST MUTHA' FKCURS

AND OF COURSE, MULTIPLE RUNS AT INDIAN SCHOOL AND 3 MILE DITCH.

ANTHONY: WHEN HANGING OUT WITH J.O. FOR SURE, STEP UP THE LIFE INSURANCE,
PACK SOME HEAT, AND TAKE PLENTY OF PENNICILLIN AND VALTRIX. BAND AIDS WON'T HELP.

racing 2005
On 2/14/2005 Anthony wrote in from United States  (68.49.nnn.nnn)

Seth, since I fly stand-by, it's always an iffy proposition on weekends to popular spots.
Last year I got as far as Denver, then proceeded to get bumped off every flight to ABQ.
This year however, I'm PAYING for a ticket because Hackett's correct. Indian School is the one race I don't want to miss.
I also hope to make a few of the BLR races, Shnitzels race, McKendrys Vail race, Top Challenge and whatever GSI throws at us this year.
I would love to go to Maryhill but with only one Pacific Northwest trip on the books for this year it's that or Shnitzels, and I want to travel and support the guys who have supported our races in DC.

Of course, our next race in DC will be in the "less developed" part of town. I'll see how much support we get then! ha ha ha
Actually, the Canadians have been bugging me to have a race in the projects. I know their game. And O'Shei fit in like a local. Who else??

bum eye
On 2/14/2005 seth wrote in from United States  (205.222.nnn.nnn)

7 years ago i got a very bad bone infection that put me out for a little more than a year. the infection got into the marrow and tainted my blood, almost killing me. thankfully it didnt, but it did take 90% of the strength out of my left eye muscles and 20% of my right. i am regular stance and since then i have had a lot of trouble with my fs stuff because i cannot control my left (leading) eye well. any tips on how to get around this? maybe use muscle memory or something? i start a 2 year experimental therapy this week that will hopefully help the problem but the doctors dont know much about skating.

It's about time.....wondering if the white-boy wonder O'Shei will get a guest roll.

Looking forward to laughing out loud and blowing coffee thru my nose

Hack, in regards to the race next weekend, do we have to pay the full season entry fee or pay on a race to race basis?

Olson, when's the show in NY? We're working on a show in DC so I'll talk to you about it next weekend

Also. since i'm staying/ hanging with O'Shei, should I increase my life insurance policy?? Or will tetenus shots and penicilin suffice?

Indian School Ditch is My personal favorite
place to ride. All alone, with the Bros, Anytime.

Of course The Fonz is cool, but Elvis was cooler
and wore Black Leather like a Lord...

Lenny, Osiris shoes still make the Jay Adams shoe and it
rocks! It is now done as a "team shoe" called "Serve" Jay Adams
edition. I wear them, Vintage Chucks, and Just got some Vintage
Keds as well. Go to
for the Jay shoe...Get it in White and Black!

This is a side-note, but on the BLR website I, saw the link to Osiris shoes. That got me thinking... do they still make the Jay Adams shoe? I've been looking to try a pair since they came out, but have had a heck of a time finding them. If you know, please help me out. If you don't, do you know who I might ask?

By the way, I think there may be two Lennys. I don't have a sister. I have an EX-sister-in-law, but I wouldn't wish her on my worst enemy. LOL
