What dates are the event in Paris and does this mean you won't be racing in Abq end of May? If so I TOTALLY understand. It's rare when ANY sponsor flys racers ANYWHERE!! Congrats,
Joe

13? Don't you need to add at least one more for good luck? I know someone who is a nobody who can tag along and sleep on the floor and yell real loud and wave an American Flag and run up and down the course like they do at the Tour De France! HELLL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck to the crew representing all of us over in Paris! Shred it, Rip it, and leave all them Urropians in your dust!

A man appeared before St. Peter at the pearly gates.
"Have you ever done anything of particular merit?" St. Peter asked.
"Well, I can think of one thing," the man then offered. "Once, on a trip to the Black Hills out in South Dakota, I came upon a gang of high-testosterone bikers, who were threatening a young woman. I directed them to leave her alone, but they wouldn't listen. So, then I just approached the largest, and the most heavily tattooed biker... I smacked him on the head, kicked his bike over, ripped out his nose ring, and threw it on the ground." The man then continued... "I yelled, Now, back off!! Or you'll answer to me!"
St. Peter was really quite impressed, and then asked: "When did this happen?"
The man replied, "Just a couple minutes ago!"

OUTLAW PUMP RACE RESULTS - RACE III

Today's race was UNREAL! The Brown Bomber set a 40 cone super fast GS/Hybrid that you could pump and accelerate all the way through. Top speeds ranged in the 29-32 MPH range.
It was The Bomber's course todays so the rules were one cone; no prob; two cones- your run was a DQ. The race started at 12:30 with no sign of rain or bad weather in site. The Bomber also said that the winner of the race would be determined by talking the each racers fastest two runs and combining them for the lowest combined time to determine the victor.
Enter Maysey. Dude was on fire. While most of us were stoked on running a sub 34, he was posting times of 33.92, 33.21, 33.08, 32.54, 32.95, 33.24, and 33.01! His combined time of 65.49 blew doors on the rest of us. Equally impressive was Kosicks consistancy; 2nd place AGAIN! with a combined time of 66.80 and his fastest time clocked at 33.08. The Brown Bomber was charging hard as usual but just couldn't catch Maysey and Kosick for the top spots. The Bomber ran a 33.46 and a 33.45 sealing 3rd place podium finish with a combined time of 66.91.
Other standouts were Hackett over taking Chicken and Evans for 4rth, and Lynn Kramer smaking down some men to take 10th! Way to go Lynn! Most of us finished up the day by getting our Tranny-On at the Poway Skatepark which is fun as all hell!
In the end the results look like this:
1st Mike Maysey 65.49 2nd Brent Kosick 66.80 3rd Richy Carrasco 66.91 4rth Dave Hackett 67.61 5th Chicken Deck 67.73 6th Steve Evans 67.82 7th C. Bark 67.90 8th Wes Carpenter 68.03 9th Andrew Mercado 70.91 10th Lynn Kramer 72.34 11th Jeff Budro 72.60 12th Charles Wilson 73.03 13th Brad Jackman 73.08 14th Mike Gorman 73.38 15th Michael Kaelon 73.47 16th Tiger 73.53 17th Dave Rogers 74.89 18th John Bruzenak 75.12 19th John Rogers 75.20
A great time was had by all; Thanks again to all our great sponsors who make this and every event possible!

Kenny..Sorry to hear of the agony . But you're taking the right course of action! As Hack says.."time heals" Trust me, I've been out of commision more than I care to remember, and the driving force to be patient and heal, is always the (kid)/ kids in our lives! Hope you heal soon! It took me a few years of torture to realize I gotta STOP and get better before I can go again...Now I'm good and ready to go! Although I twaked my sacral a few daze back. Gettin' old w/ alot of miles on the frame SUCKS

Fadell, hope you heal soon. The rest of you go kick some ass and have some fun. I may be out for the season, or not. I really dont know and am starting to care less. Bob Dylan sang "If something's not right, its wrong". I hope I can make the right choices this season. I will. For the kid.
Hackett, thanks for offering up your crib. Go get em guys. I see a Kentucky fried winner, a burrito close behind and the Long Beach Italian hanging on the podium. Charge hard. You guys think your so cool with all your healthy backs, cool clothes, and sunny California weather. Yea, I guess you can say I am envious. Yea, that would not be a lie.
Have fun. I will be there in spirit.

Bummer. I feel your pain, dudes.
Nature, go get that Demerol/Cortisone shot in the back muscles. It works. I couldn't walk the day before the last La Costa race- Got the shot, and BOOOM! I was a racing machine.
Fadell; Dude, you got some time on your hands buddy- I torn the 'ol ACL/MCL back in '99 and was out for a whole year before the first La Costa race in 2001.
Time heals all things. The most important part is to take the time and heal up right before charging again, or you will be taking a chance of re-injuring the same thing.
Lot's of videos.

My flight leaves in 30 minutes and I wont be on it. I was riding the Exkate yesterday for about 10 minutes and when I got off my back felt tweaked like it was back in January/February. I hurt real bad last night and I was totally depressed. I decided last night not to come out because of the rain/back action. HAVE A GREAT RACE. I am damaged goods. Sucks.

wuddup Olson- Takin' you outta my pillbox... I should report you to the FDA... Thought I would die when you said goodbye... but I ain't been sick all day...
Is Ole a "Jones" for life? Is he a "Criminal"? Has he been taken over by "graveyard rock"? Is he still bangin' "Miss 7-14"? Can he "Fix Me"? Still got a p-bass? What ever happened to Jeff Drake? I know it's only the past-but The Joneses kicked ass with Olson.
