Bookies is not only dead it is a parking lot. It burned to the ground. My sister saw the Clash, Police, Iggy etc. legendary place.

Hey jjackson!

Mercury rocked his balls off but get real;
with so much hot pussy in the world why would
any man go homo? Probably started by wearing lycra...

Straight up, for the Spitfires are great and fast as
hell but tend to flatspot and wear out rather quickly.

For big pools and pipes I ride the DEATHBOX 63MM PIPESMOKERS!

For smaller sh!t, our new Speed Sabres are HELLA' FAST!!

Get sum - go fast.

What do you guys think of Freddie?

When your riding pools - what kind of wheels do you use?
My Uncle has a Hackett owned pool board that has big hard
Spitfires on it. It's like a rocket.

Yeah, she was the gang leader Varla. Russ Meyer knew how to pick'em.
If you like Faster Pussy Cat try Mudhoney, or my favorite "Mondo Topless."
Bookies is dead. Detroit is a shadow, but your eyes won't burn out from the sun.

What's story with the coarse for Sunday?

Suzi Quatro (who played Leather Tuscadero) is from DETROIT, her bro was a punker who use to go to a lot of the local shows and would always come into the skateshop I used to work at back in the day.

Suzi was cool, but she was no Tura Satana!

Fonz
On 2/14/2005 oLsOn wrote in from United States  (4.61.nnn.nnn)

About the FonZ:::::::::::

One time in 78 or 79
I was driving down Melrose
Hollywood, Ca.
With some freinds, Punk Rock
Types.....
Low and behold who pulls up next
to us, but the Fonz.....
We got all crazy, pointing and s#@!
Screaming at the top of our lungs....
In Excitment......and totally stoked
The Fonz, looks over in complete
FEAR......as though we wanted to
Kill Him.........EGO comes to mind......
Next thing you know, he speeds up
and starts driving crazy....tryin to lose us....
Lil did he know we could drive a f#@! of lot
better than he could......So the chase started....
The Fonz not being very cool at all.........and driving
more like Ralph Malph........The more he tried to ditch us,
the better we drove........pressure, not one of Henrys better traits....
On his ass, the crazier we became.........
Then we realized he was not that cool, just a frightened
lil actor head running for his life.........or should I say
DRIVING for fear of his life...........
We became bored rather quickly..........
And let the Fonz drive off........
We always wonder if he blood pressure
was a lil high, like we were......
The lesson to this story.....
I want Pinky and her back up Singers
Trivia: Who played Pinky ? ? ?

TimeShip Podium
On 2/14/2005 GI Joe wrote in from United States  (65.19.nnn.nnn)

While we're all amped up predicting the future, I may as well chime in too:

The Bear will be won by Ryan Armendariz
Sk8 Park Slalom will be won by GI Joe
Indian School will be won (again) by Will Brunson

It's possible that a BLR rider may take 2nd at each race and win the Overall Award which is the TRUE test of skill in ABQ. My prediction is John O'Shei or Palmer.

Will we see Olson in a full face at the Bear?

TO THE MARSHALL: YOU GUYS BETTER BEAT US ON YOUR OWN TERRAIN;
YOU LIVE THERE, AND RIDE IT EVERYDAY!!

I'VE NOW WON THE BEAR (OR OVERALL) TWICE, AND CAME IN SECOND
AT THE LAST INDIAN OUTLAW RACE! (LAST YEAR AFTER GETTING MY CAST
OFF A BROKEN FOOT.)

MY MONEYS ON PALMER TO WIN THE INDIAN OUTLAW, OLSON TO TAME THE BEAR, AND BUDRO
TO CAPTURE THE PARK SLALOM!

I'LL BE LUCKY TO PLACE TOP TEN IN ANY OF THOSE RACES! AND I DON'T CARE
ANYWAY - I'LL BE THERE TO RIP WITH THE ALB. LOCALS - COOLEST MUTHA' FKCURS
IN THE NATION.

AND OF COURSE, MULTIPLE RUNS AT INDIAN SCHOOL AND 3 MILE DITCH.

ANTHONY: WHEN HANGING OUT WITH J.O. FOR SURE, STEP UP THE LIFE INSURANCE,
PACK SOME HEAT, AND TAKE PLENTY OF PENNICILLIN AND VALTRIX. BAND AIDS WON'T HELP.

SETH, AS FAR AS THE EYE; JUST GO FOR IT - YOU WILL ADAPT. GO WITH WHAT YOU KNOW!

racing 2005
On 2/14/2005 Anthony wrote in from United States  (68.49.nnn.nnn)

Seth, since I fly stand-by, it's always an iffy proposition on weekends to popular spots.
Last year I got as far as Denver, then proceeded to get bumped off every flight to ABQ.
This year however, I'm PAYING for a ticket because Hackett's correct. Indian School is the one race I don't want to miss.
I also hope to make a few of the BLR races, Shnitzels race, McKendrys Vail race, Top Challenge and whatever GSI throws at us this year.
I would love to go to Maryhill but with only one Pacific Northwest trip on the books for this year it's that or Shnitzels, and I want to travel and support the guys who have supported our races in DC.

Of course, our next race in DC will be in the "less developed" part of town. I'll see how much support we get then! ha ha ha
Actually, the Canadians have been bugging me to have a race in the projects. I know their game. And O'Shei fit in like a local. Who else??
