The core members of the downhillbillies just spent 4 days training with Chris Barker. Khiro Bob and Mr. Hackett sent lots of cushions, risers and hardware for all the dhb. With C-barks help we learned a lot about setting up out boards and adjusting them for different courses. We ran a Thursday night downtown urban course, complete with sidewalk transitions and manhole covers. Friday night was a outlaw hybrid at Kamperworld followed by two days on the soapbox derby hill at hobby park. Everyone survived and we all improved. As you can see by the photo above- That Flat Bar Hit Hard in a bad spot. In this photo, Christian is asking me if I want a special prayer said for a speedy recovery- Ahh.....That would be a yes! Even with all the prayers and calls (Thanks everyone who called) I still ended up with this. And this shot was taken SuperBowl Sunday- Now my whole leg is purple.
