New to Albuquerque??
On 6/7/2005 Chris wrote in from United States  (216.243.nnn.nnn)

Alex & Sammy,

If you want, I can Email you guys next time we go ditch riding or something.

It sounds like maybe you two need to meet up and skate. There are a ton of smaller (slower) ditches in town, if Indian School seems a little too fast, although I would be willing to bet that once you get a taste you will wanna hit the fast ditches right away!

As for parks, we are a little starved here. There is Los Altos which is great, even if a little lumpy, and Calvary which is smooth, fast as hell, and just awesome but the coping sucks and it's a little tight. Anything else called a skatepard is really just Skatewave modular crap.

If you have a ride, Joe Lehm runs a skate school in Santa Fe. They have a half pipe and a bunch of other stuff there. Joe does lessons and you can just go there and skate too. He has kids of all ages and skill levels. It is just the best. They also periodically do things like slalom days on a closed road near Santa Fe. Check it out at
http://www.skateboardsafety.com/Skate_School.html

whats up blake in issaquah.
On 5/27/2005 dennis wrote in from United States  (216.9.nnn.nnn)

Blake, im in the quah too. there are mass hills but you notice that quick I bet, many are good for bombin, like up in the highlands, or have you cheked the hill behind the fredmyer/homedepot shopping center, its fast if you tudk it from the top, but watchout for those issa-cops some are ruthless and handcuff for no reason. we got a small creww of rippers/bombers around here(seattle area, so if your down to hit 50mph drop an email. we're gonna go do some speed riding this weekend if you guys are interested either at alpental at the pass or the famous maryhill loops road one last time before letting the hill rest before the race there at the end of next month and possibly a run down highway 18 comin off tiger mountain, that looks good for some really fast speeds. weekend is look fun though

Riding in Seattle
On 5/12/2005 Blake wrote in from United States  (24.16.nnn.nnn)

Hey Jordan! I live in Issaquah. I am 17, and am also looking for longboarding companions. My friend also loves to longboard, but just cruises and tries to power-slide, so I need a bombing buddy. Want to meet up some time and skate like maniacs? There are tons of huge hills and long cruising hills in Issaquah that we could hit up.

hills in cali
On 4/29/2005 whitey wrote in from United States  (66.91.nnn.nnn)

If you ever find yourself in Santa Barbara Ca, you've gotta head up to Gibralter road. The road climes up the mountains for miles but the last 4 miles after East Camino Cielo turns into Gibralter are perfact, smooth, fast, lots of turns, and some of the most inspiring veiws you will ever soak up on a skateboard. Hope someone gets a chance to make it up there, you'll see me hichhiking the road on weekday evenings (sporting pads from now on).
