Hey Trish, I'd say yes that we can probably find some sort of accomodations. Same story, if you think you might come out, post it on the CSA forum and that you're looking for someone to stay and ride with. Our one main female racer stopped due to having twins last summer so we'd probably hook you up somewhere else since she and her husband are pretty busy. Let us know-Adios, Paul

Hey all of you DHB'ers, If any of you come out to one of our dinky semi-organized races in the Northwest, post that you're doing so on the CSA forum, one of us will likely give you a place to stay and drive you around and save you some $. Check out our Salem Oregon Soap Box Derby Hill from last Sunday's Season Opener BBQ. It's a lot mellower than the Salem-Winston SBD hill but has a great surface. I think it's very similar to the one in Ohio Kenny runs races on. Hopefully I'll make it out to the Dixie Cup #2 and not be sick this time. It was good meeting all of you in person. Adios-Paul

Cbark,
I have to say that you either are one hell of a teacher or you had some amazing students. Actually both are true. The DHB's are set to be a new force this year. I can't wait for next weekend to see them all in one place.
They are blazing.

Geezer X, you are almost right. Actually, as we promised on Sunday night of the Dixie Cup, the Legacy Riders will get first crack at the sign-up for this year's Dixie Cup. The way it will work is we will contact everyone that attended the first race and let them know there will be a private sign up period for them to commit to come to the race. Once that period is up, then we will post it on the Contest Calendar with all remaining slots open to the rest of the slalom community. Due to daylight issues we still will be limiting the field for Saturday but we are working on what those numbers will look like. We are not looking to exclude other riders with this format but we are looking to reward those of you who took a chance on this new organization to come to our very first race.

DHB in the house! Thanks Adam for the forum. We will make sure to post the DHB happenings on here for everyone to check out.
Next big DHB event will be in conjunction with Wesley Tucker at the DownHere Slalom Retreat...Check it out on the Contest Calendar for dates and info.
We are working on other events in addition to our big one, the 2nd Annual Downhillbillies Dixie Cup to be held Nov. 3, 4, and 5th. Watch for information here regarding 2005 Legacy Riders (riders who attended the first race) and the sign-up deadlines.
Thanks for supporting the DHB Movement.
