I spent about 2 hours today in the store admiring boards and taking them out for a demo. Thanks Lizzie for being patient with me. I am proud to say to be the new owner of a Black Label OLSON Red Cross with 180 randalls...kinda regeretting not getting the flashbacks....but ill be back.
Can I get a good deal on the Loaded board?
If you're in the city or in the Bay Area...check out Purple SKunk....you wont be disappointed.

i have shopped before at purple skunk and was very satisfied with your service...ive posted many times on the message board boasting about the store and told many friends to buy from you guys too...Im in the market for a new board, preferably an old school style board with only one kick...can you give me a rundown on what you guys have available at the store? DO you have any comet proflex park (36')? any info can help...and i might be at the store soon as long as it doesnt rain so i can test out some boards.

I'm visiting from England from a couple of months and wanted to buy a longboard while I'm here as it's much cheaper. Found Purple Skunk on the internet (www.purpleskunk.com) and went to visit them. They were so helpful, letting me try out any board I wanted on the sidewalk outside, and they had loads to choose from. I decided on a G&S Fibreflex 44" Pintail with Randal 150's, Bones Reds, and Abec 11 Flashbacks. A perfect setup and they built it for me right there and then and at a really good price too (literally half the price I would pay in the UK). I would recommend this shop to anybody who can get down there - they are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Get yourself down there and try out a Fibreflex - it's a wicked deck!
